I love it when people drink outside my dorm at 5am all exam week. Not like I want to do well or anything.

Please do not send your kids to this hall, I am a student staying in Tupuanuku during 2022 and do not recommend it to anyone. The food is Grossly inadequate with its limited supply and is very often not cooked correctly. The amount of money you fork out for your own food for nutrition at this hall is ridiculous. The ability to predict the menu without checking just goes to show the negligble variety of food provided. RAs don't really speak to you at all, supposed to be once a week, I have gone months without any contact with my RA. Maintance issues take entire semesters to be fixed!Please consider other halls before sending your kids to this hall.(Posting anonymously out of fear of repercussions)

Great

For the price you pay for this hall you'd expect a certain level of comfort. The catered food is bad? How do you even fail at making rice? It's literally water and heat and you're done. The sauces are the only thing keeping the catered food together on most days. The design of the building means that certain rooms are extremely hot compared to others, to the point that it actually makes it difficult to sleep or study even with the window open and a desk fan going 24/7. The only reason I'm giving a second star is because the media and games room are good, the water fountain on the ground floor is a life saver, and the study room is actually a great place to study. You deserve better, and you can pay less for better.
