Amazing dinner experience. Highly recommended especially for a place like masterton, the taste is great. I did go for the expensive option though..The fish (60$) [expensive] was snapper and the charred taste was the first time I tried. I must say it was really good. The size was generous. The creamy sauce gave it a good rich texture. Broccoli with coconut (8$) was ok. Japanese cheese cake (14$) was dry but taste was good. Probably needed a coffee to go with it.Overall 4/5 for taste and 3/5 value (as took the expensive side). Must visit.————Visited again Oct2021: easy to get a place as not very busy due to L2. Menu has changed.I had grilled octopus 28$ although the serving was a good piece of octopus but nothing else with it . So had to take greens and chicken 24$, 2 drinks (20 n 14$ each) dessert was tiramisu fingers (14$ L) (very string coffe, plz avoid)total bill approx100$.Certainly fine dining but quantity was small. As previous once a visit or on occasions only..

Had dinner at this restaurant with my wife as a day-after Valentines day celebration. The food was just awesome. We had the half-bird, lamb rump, and the coconut broccoli. And the mega mac for dessert. The portions are really good and the tastes are excellent! The presentation of the food are excellent too! The staff are super friendly. There are all seatings outside, weather permitting. We are definitely impressed and we will make sure to come back again. Check them out!!

Octopi was delici!! Gnocchi and coramandal oysters where spot on. Actually I would drive from wellington for those meals. Wrong order for oysters 6 not 12 (first world problems) - fine. The Tomahawk was $75 and hmmmmm, why? Server assumed I was takeaway? Simple beer/$170 order while three people talking to one person? Great place for Masterton. Keep it up, keep it local. I would be back, and especially for a group 100%. Could get steak from new world and gotten more for less and better. Mixing the octopus sauce with the steak was next level, but wanted to try everything.

Four of us shared several small plates, including the tuna noodles, the half chicken, the prawns, the lamb rump, greens and the beetroot gnocchi -- all fantastic. Also, the drinks menu offers a wide selection of craft cocktails, beers, wines, and even some zero-alcohol beers. The wait staff was professional, friendly and ready to answer our questions. All in all, amazing dining experience!
