Most expensive per time car wash I've been to in nz or Australia. Very surprised Nelson Richmond doesn't have a large, affordable, well featured do it yourself car wash.

Clean and tidy Wash area , easy to use or you go through the automatic washer. Vacuum is also available. No car mat washer but a dog wash is there .great if your dog has been in the mud

Only get 2 minutes per coin compared to 3 minutes like similar car wash places I've used also the bristles are too stiff on the brushes so if you don't mind paying to scratch your paint go ahead.

Made use of this 24-hour self-serve vacuum & car wash service (went at 10:30 pm) to do a quick servicing of our rental car before returning it the next day.Was simple enough to use/navigate in pitch black by myself and wasn't overly expensive.Great thing to have around in Nelson!

Very quick and convenient, I can high pressure wash my SUV for about $4 if its not too dirty. $6-8 if it needs to be scrubbed properly. This place can be popular at times and not much parking space to make a cue.

For you car lovers from out of town like I am, this is the best place in Nelson to get your ride looking shiny and clean again. Whether you want to wash the car yourself or go for an automated car wash both brushed and touchless then this is the place. Machines are operated by tokens upon inserting cash but the carwash you can use eftpos etc. And right next door there is a shop where you can book your car in for a detail. I'm guessing by appointment though? Kia ora from Auckland :)

Used the card facilities for the purchase of $10 worth of tokens and was charged $10.50 as they sneak a 50 cent card surcharge in. Receipt printed out but no tokens were dispensed. Walked straight over to the office and struck an employee who showed his doubts towards me. He walked over to the machine put a $2 coin in and received a token. He then looks at the receipt I had just handed him and said this was is time stamped from yesterday night. I questioned him why he has so much distrust and asked him to check the CCTV which would back up everything I said. He told me he is only an employee and would need to see my bank account. I had to log on to my bank and had to hand him my phone with my personal bank information on it. He still doubted me and had a second look at it again. It was clearly obvious that this transaction had just been done and the fact I told him to check the CCTV footage clearly showed I was being upfront.I did have a bit of a go at him about accusing me of lying about this as I was the one being ripped off and felt it was being turned around on me! He said in one sentence he was not accusing me and in another sentence said he cant trust anybody? I have been coming here for years and after this incident will unlikely return for my weekly vehicle wash. This also caused me to be late for work. Imagine if this happened when no staff were here? This would of likely been a lot harder to convince your untrusting staff and after looking at other reviews it appears this isn't the first time something like this has happened!Word of advice:1: Sort your card facilities out so the receipt has the correct time and date stamp.2: Sort your token machine out so it actually dispenses tokens upon card payment.3: Use your CCTV footage rather than being intrusive into customers mobile phones and bank accounts.4: Educate your staff on being more customer focussed and less defensive.
