We got the red back hybrid system 5kW inverter. We had some issues upfront but Stefan worked hard to make sure we got the results we wanted and did a good job to make sure we were happy with the final product. That’s what you want from a 15 year investment, strong customer support.

Zen provided just the right amount of information on the various options available for a solar system for our house. The sales team were very good at outlining the pros and cons of each option and didn't try to push the most expensive options or try to over sell the benefits. The support team were proactive in keeping me updated with progress while dealing with shipping delays that had become common place after covid. Installation was managed well and the system works perfectly, delivering what the sales team promised.

Excellent experience. Zen's philosophy matches our own when it comes to renewable energy. Really good to work with, genuine people who are proud of the product they sell. The installation went well and any questions were answered promptly. The follow up service is proactive and responsive. There are even suggestions on how to maximize power savings. I would recommend ZEN to anyone who is looking at installing a solar system.

Zen energy has good products and a fair price, the installation team is great however the company lets itself down with communication and customer support. Expect to have continuously chase them up if you want any action. They do a little bit then give you radio silence. I was promised a quick install date but the sales team never sent off my order to the team that deals with install. So they had no idea what I was talking about and had to eventually find it. I paid my deposit quickly but there was no confirmation of received payment, I had to ask for it. I had to chase Zen every step of the way and dealt with defensive snappy staff on the phone. Credit to them they have supposedly improved their systems and learnt from our communication.

Fabulous company to work with. Initial quote was spot on but then Zen were keen to work with us to go beyond that. We worked to get as many panels up as possible (as once the guys are on the roof the incremental cost of further panels is small). We now have a 27panel 9.99kW system NE and NW facing for all day cover. No battery as we'll send power to the grid during the day and draw down at night. We expect payback in under 7yrs. Install was seamless and the team went the extra mile to ensure the look of the install matched the style of the house. The install team also fitted in with the other trades on site. Post install support was also provided with a smile and recommendations for the best buy-back schemes from various power companies and an app to track our usage. More than happy to recommend Zen.

Although there were a few hiccups along the way with our full off grid system, the team at Zen really pride themselves in customer service! There was always someone at the other end willing to answer our calls and emails, which in this day and age is refreshing. In the end we couldn't be more happy with the performance of our system!

We wanted to future proof our new build installing both solar and battery back-up. After researching and meeting with several companies Zen Energy was a clear winner with their knowledge, service and products. They co-ordinated everything with our builder and delivered exactly what and when they said they would. We are so happy with the system and find the portal / app easy to understand and use our system to its full potential. Highly recommend.
