Excellent place to get petrol with prices lower than any other place I have been to. Always a queue here so be prepared for a short wait and hope that the punters who are filling their cars in front of you know what they are doing when it comes to paying using the prepay machine and after they have filled their cars if they want to go into the store for goods that they move their cars away from the pump so that other people can use the pump.

I was blown away by the kindness of the people who work here. This weekend we were travelling 6 hours to Auckland for a wedding and got stranded 10 mins down the road from here after we hit a piece of metal which burst both left tyres. The sun was setting and we had no signal so had to hitchhike to the nearest gas station. We sat outside for several hours in the dark waiting to be picked up by friends, super stressed out. A woman came out and asked if we needed any food and offered a discount, which we politely declined, not wanting to be a bother and knowing we'd have to pay for new tyres later. Twenty minutes later she came back out and gave us fried chicken free of charge, which my partner was grateful for as he was getting hungry. Another twenty minutes later she came out and handed us three hot pies, and told us she lived nearby if we needed anything. We never told her we were stressed or asked for help, she offered it all out of her own selflessness. To the woman who gave us food and kind words - thank you so much, with all our hearts. I was having anxiety attack after anxiety attack, and someone showing us kindness on that stressful night was enough to keep me going and not feel so alone. We managed to get somewhere safe to sleep that night and we made it to Auckland the next day in time for the wedding! This gas station will always hold a special place in my heart now ♡

One of the pumps wasn't working which resulted in way longer ques but the price was good. Can't understand why the self serve Gull in Tokoroa only 10 mins or so away was 18 cents more expensive. Would love an explanation from Gull.

Dude, I just wanted to use the loo and was going to purchase somethingThat said, I was embarrassed by the rude man at the counter who let all and sundry know, toilets are for paying customers! Before handing the key to a lady behind me. Without inquiring if I was buying anything.I purchased stuff anyway but the guy at the counter has all the friendliness of a dying hyena and all the warmth of an iceberg.If I want to get dressed down and be treated like scum on his shoe, I will definitely come back. Oh and, the loo was scruffy anyway. Clean it mate!My little boy thought you had no manners also.

Best Diesel price in New Zealand I reckon.43 km north of Taupo , to help plan your gas fill .

For so long they have offered cheap diesel but alas, no longer it seems. Diesel is now cheaper in Taupo. Watch for massive potholes in the carpark area. Seems it's all about profits now. Word spreads quick though as there are no more queues.

Be prepared to join the queue. The petrol has got to be the best priced in NZ as far as I know. All self service but totally worth it and worth the wait. Shows up the so-called service stations and the profits they're making - obviously can't just blame the Government and this station in the middle of absolutely no where proves it. Sure can't blame delivery costs. Never thought I'd say it as a loyal Mobil customer but running on nothing but fumes, THANK YOU GULL. The price left me gob-smacked and were a real eye opener.

Hoorible coffe . I bought 2 flat white, both were different one with a lot of milk other not totally fill.... But the petrol price the best.
