The experience with the cute little alpacas was soooo great!!!We spent a lot of time petting those cutest alpacas and had a calm and happiness memories with the adorable creatures. By the way the tour guide , Lydia was so nice and knowledgeable.Really enjoyed this trip!!!

Shamarra Alpacas
Firstly just have to say the location itself is just stunning, gorgeous. We were taken on tour by Frank, one of the owners and Charlie the hound who I absolutely fell in love with. As for the Alpacas they were just beautiful, such gentle creatures living the best life on this farm. Frank’s tour was very interesting and he was happy to answer lots of questions - Thankyou so much Frank and Charlie it was wonderful to meet you!

The alpacas at the farm are not only adorable but also very well-cared for, appearing healthy and fluffy. A visit to see them is definitely worth it, especially with the friendly staff who provide detailed explanations of their various types and habits

Very fun tour. The owner and the guide lady were very nice and informative. Learnt a lot about the farm history, alpacas life, especially the mothers and the babies. Alpacas are so cute. Their furs so soft!

Highly recommended farm tour at the mountain. Wonderful scenery with the alpacas.Just careful on the road is extremely sharp and twisted.

We had the most amazing time! Our host I" was incredibly knowledgeable and was happy to answer the dozens of questions we had for him. He had a great sense of humor and you could tell that the animals loved him. The alpacas were friendly and there were lots of them! We has a 10 day old alpaca on our tour who wanted to nuzzle our clothing

Really good experience. My family were really enjoying this Alpaca experience. You will have chance to really close up and touching the Alpaca. Check out their gift shop as well, they have plenty choices for you. The quality were really good. I will come again during my future visit.

Such a great experience, a fantastic way to end my family’s 2 week South Island trip. There were so many alpacas! Our guide Lydia was patient and knowledgeable, she knew the alpacas by name! She answered all our questions and taught us how to touch these beautiful animals. We were able to cuddle the alpacas, meet the mums and babies too. Most entertaining part was feeding them. We appreciate the tour so much Lydia, thank you! :)

We took the 4pm 1 hour tour. Its a very nice experience to meet the alpacas. Exactly the right amount of time to see both the adults and the young ones. The staff there are very friendly and hospitable. Even the cookies at the end are very tasty. Quite recommended.By the way...the scenery from the farm is simply spectacular
