I recently completed an incredible three-year journey at Techtorium New Market, and I can't recommend this institution enough to anyone interested in pursuing a career in IT. One of the most hopeless outfits. So many reasons to not attend. #1, back when I was in attendance it was $10K per year for software engineering course. We were literary paying for them to tell us to go and use W3 Schools which is free to ANYONE. So $10K per year to use a free website to be self-taught. #2, every week we would have remote learning sessions. They were always late so left us sitting around waiting for a trainer to come online. Few times where they completely forgot so we all had to sit there for hours waiting for no one. They also had staff meetings while we were onsite in the mornings which meant we had to wait anywhere between 1/2 and hour to 1 hour before we could start our course. The hypocrisy being if we were late, we would get the boot. Trainers were rude. Asked one for help and he told me to go away. Another time where one of the students was so upset, she started crying in the class. One of their staff members would never return calls or get back to me/others. Overall, I have paid $10k per year to be 75% self-taught using free online tools I could have used anyway and saved myself thousands of dollars.

I've been a student for two years at Techtorium in the Computer Engineering pathway and have thoroughly enjoyed my time so far. The trainers and student support staff at Techtorium are excellent and supportive of students, and the curriculum is very practical in focus. If you are looking a for a course of semi-guided learning for IT in the company of like-minded aspiring IT professionals, Techtorium is a rather solid choice. One of the main points being their industry pathways and collaboration with companies within the IT industry who help advise what relevant employment-centric skills to teach. Techtorium is great for leading you into an entry level job within the tech support sector, just be aware that going through to the higher-level courses does not guarantee you a higher paying job, but rather puts you at the top of the list of potential hires for entry level, you still need to make your way up the ladder.I personally went through the computer engineering courses going from level 5 to level 7 joining initially in the first COVID pandemic lockdowns. Throughout my stay at Techtorium, the curriculum was constantly being tweaked and adjusted which resulted in a bit of a messy, sometimes repeated learning experience; though again, this was during and just after the pandemic which I’m sure played a role in this. They do seem to be pushing a more self-research model compared to what used to be a guided learning environment but take that with a grain of salt as they might pivot again. That being said, it still was enough direction for me to learn a lot and gain meaningful knowledge. Just be aware that just like any other leaning institute, the amount of effort you put in directly correlates with how much you learn, you can copy and paste your way through and learn next to nothing if you are so inclined.They have pushed a strong culture of inclusiveness, which I appreciate. Student voice and individuality is strongly emphasized.I really like the ideas they have pushed with TechZoo to not only create a new income revenue but also giving students real world work experience. It is a great, innovative idea that I hope will work out well.Shout to my favourite trainer Sam who only threatened physical violence in a friendly jovial manner with the oh-so-helpful “look fine” as a response to a question (never gonna let go of that one as it was rather funny).TLDR: Good if you have desire to learn IT, has a lot of potential for improvement, generally a good way to use your fees free, though a bit hard to recommend to internationals paying extra.

I had the privilege of attending an exceptional IT institution for the past year and currently studying my last year, which has significantly impacted my career in the industry. The amazing staff who had an impact on my learning were Tany, Danielle, Shan, Sam, Mariyam, Alex, and Cole. The trainers offered continuous upskilling and would push us to get onto completing Microsoft Accreditation.The institution's comprehensive and well-structured curriculum covered diverse IT domains, establishing a solid understanding of fundamental concepts. Their up-to-date materials reflected the industry's rapid evolution. At the end of the day, you get what you put in, in terms of effort, and I have had made great connections with like minded students, and professionals in the IT industry throughout my journey at Techtorium.A standout feature was the focus on real-life scenarios, integrating hands-on experience to tackle practical challenges. This approach fostered critical thinking and problem-solving skills, vital in the IT industry.The institution fostered industry connections, facilitating internships, projects, and networking opportunities. Guest lectures and workshops delivered by experts enriched the learning experience, offering insights into real-world scenarios.Beyond education, the institution provided career guidance, resume building, interview preparation, and job placement support. Their career services team played a pivotal role in securing my position in the IT industry.In conclusion, I am immensely grateful to this excellent IT institution for the transformative learning experience they provided. As from the start I was for sure determined that IT is my career choice. That’s what brought me to Techtorium. With the great support from the reception, student engagement team and not to forget the lovely trainers have opened doors of success for all students equal. Based on my current experience studying ITTS I have enjoyed each and every day with something new to learn while keeping workloads of assignments in a manageable frame. Class collaboration and opportunities have helped many students get along. Totally recommend Techtorium for all those tech minded students out there. Get in here and make you IT dream come true.

Current 3/4 through the first year of Techtorium and I am currently really enjoying the course, but after reading some of these reviews I've realized that Techtorium is a institution that really relies on the students desire to learn IT.What I mean by this is the fact that for the other reviewers who have complained saying that they don't prepare you for the real world. WE LITERALLY CREATE SERVERS AND WORK CLIENTS TO BE ABLE TO MANAGE THEM AND LEARN HOW TO SET STUFF UP FOR IT.As for when reviewers mention saying that all they have to do is copy paste their answers, that just shows they're not fully invested in to learn, if they truly were, they wouldn't copy and paste, they'd learn the material and explain what they know/learnt about the topic and give extra details on the given question. As that would be the way for you to learn.I personally think Techtorium is an amazing institute for people are who interested and willing to learn about Servers, Networking and more. Yes in the projects given you can take short cuts by coping and pasting, but doing that only affects your learning. Personally the trainers have been very kind and respectful to me.Shout to you my favorite trainer!
