BEST little fish and chipper, & a local treasure. Food is consistently good, and it's so great to find a chipper that doesn't over-season with too much salt, or drown the food in oil. Loads of options for my vegan and veggie whānau to choose from, and the staff always have a smile, even when they are flat out.

Epic fish and chippy. Loved by locals and often a long wait due to numerous phone orders coming through. Very professional clean and tidy. Usually my dinner on a Thursday night as friday its just too busy.

Honestly not great. Chips never have enough salt or flavour, poor oil is used, never seasoned. Tasteless. Staff seem gossipy and not overly friendly apart from a one liner. Burgers seemed good but buns are not up to standard. More vegetarian options would be great. Shop could do with an outside revamp with better seating . Shop open hours are odd.

Sorry to have to say this because we're trying to support local, but service matters. The chips were burnt, two were really black, and the 6 fish we ordered were a heap of fish fragments with way more batter than fish. The meal was cold, as though they'd been sitting there for a while. After lockdown we were really looking forward to a meal of fish and chips. This was just really disappointing. There might be a good reason for all of this, but no explanation was given at pickup.
