The positives: Prompt response to query, appt given within a fortnight and salon assistant Kate - she was awesome.The negatives: asked for a colour match for regrowth, result was numerous shades darker then rest of hair. Colour was mixed by the gentleman hairdresser. Appt was with Mel but she was busy with another client so Kate applied the dye. Processing time was lengthened by Kate to 'buy her time' she also asked Kate to add a massage and treatment at the basin so she could finish off the other client. Mel then cut my hair but left Kate to dry off and style. No brushing during drying off was a frizzy mess at the end. I had to ask for a serum to be applied.Terrible experience, would never return or recommend.

This was one of the best experiences I've had at a salon since I started colouring my hair 25 years ago. Friendly and efficient. Stylists are super knowledgable and experienced. Love highlight colour and cut - hair looks great!

A year ago I posted that they were very good at answering my query and recommending options (about extensions and permanent hair straightening). A year later I went back and got the hair straightening and a cut done and wow it turned out better than I imagined it would. Such an amazing, talented team. They are so friendly also and informed me of what to expect, and what was happening at each stage, and answered all of my questions. I can't give more than 5 stars but if I could I'd give them more.

Really disappointed with my visit, had a very simple trim (approx 1cm) and hair straightened with NO products and it cost $75.. Website states $25 for straighten and $32-$39 for trim.Was queried and advised that I had 2 people working on my hair and was there for an hour, appt was 1045, Sat in chair at 1046 and waited for stylist for 5 minutes before service started and was done by 11:31. I didn't have 2 stylists working on me, I had the hairdresser who cut and then she had another client so got someone else to finish the straighten.Definitely not worth $75 and unfortunately reinforces why I don't spend money on myself.

work in Wellington and normally get my hair cut there but ended up randomly getting my hair cut at Envy in Levin. I was a bit nervous but desperate to have a major colour change. Mel the stylist was faultless, I gave an ambitious photo of the different colours I wanted and was thrilled at the pinterest/celebrity level result. I have NEVER had so many compliments from people about my hair colour and even got asked for ID when buying wine for the first time in several years. (Coincidence maybe!) I would definitely make the effort to get my hair coloured there again by Mel, worth the drive to have it done so well and not paying Wellington prices!! Plus fabulous nail place right next door so great to get that done at the same time as going for your hair.
