If you're in a pinch and need a quick, decent haircut, Bodie might do the trick. Just don't expect any friendly conversation or warm customer service. As for the other barbers, it's best to steer clear. They seem to be brought in on the cheap and lack the experience necessary to give a quality cut. Go here if you must, but there are better options out there.

I have 2 teenagers. We found this barber about 18months ago & it’s the only place they’ll go for a haircut now. The quality of the cut is really good. They listen & they’re fast. They are either with Bodie or Aladden. I would suggest making a booking online because they do fill up. They work hard & have nice hair products for sale as well. It has a nice vibe. Thanks guys for the great cuts!!!

I had the unfortunate experience of visiting this barber and let me tell you, it was a complete disaster. Judging from the reviews online, it seems like you either get a great haircut or an absolutely awful one, and unfortunately, I was one of the unlucky ones.Firstly, my haircut was rushed. It was clear that the barber was in a hurry to finish up and move on to the next customer. As a result, my hair was unevenly cut, and the front was completely lopsided. It was almost as if the barber had been blindfolded while cutting my hair.To make matters worse, the barber used thinning scissors way too much. I felt like my hair was being mercilessly thinned out, and by the time the barber was done, it was left looking wispy and sparse. The sides were rough and uneven, and it was clear that the barber had absolutely no attention to detail.I was so dissatisfied with the end result that I had to go to another barber to get it fixed, and they did it for free. When they asked me where I had gotten such a rough cut, they were shocked to hear that it was from this barber.Overall, my experience was incredibly disappointing, and it seems like whether you get a good or bad cut here depends on who cuts your hair. I would highly recommend staying away from this place unless you want to risk a terrible haircut.

I have a Flat Top style of hair cut and have been twice now and Bodie took on the task, what an awsume result :) , I'am very satisfied with the American style Flat Top" shaping. When I came to write this review, I was shocked to see the barber's responses to other customers' criticism. Rather than acknowledging and addressing the issues, the barber seemed defensive and argumentative.I recently visited this barber located in Newmarket, and unfortunately, I had a less than satisfactory experience. While the price is understandably high (given the mall's location), the quality of service did not match the price.To begin with, one of the barbers was eating lunch behind the desk, which made the place smell unpleasantly strong. I found this to be quite unprofessional and off-putting. Moreover, the customer service was rude, and the barber didn't seem interested in chatting with me, which made me feel unwelcome.The haircut was rushed, and it seemed like the barber didn't pay attention to detail. My sideburns were not taken care of, and there was no razor cut around the edges, which I would expect from a top barber. I've had a razor tidy up around the edges from barbers who charged half the price on Dominion Road.While the decor is nice, the overall ambiance of the place feels like a typical shopping mall barber

Booked in with Aladen for 12:00pm. Place was empty, though nicely dressed. He told me to take a seat. Nowhere to hang my jacket or bag so I put them next to my chair. Aladen seemed very absorbed in his phone at the counter and took a few minutes to come over and talk to me. He took my bag and jacket and plonked it in the empty barber chair beside me. He took a quick look at my reference photos. Before starting, Aladen stood in front of the chair, with his back to me, on his phone for at least a full two minutes. Nuts. No chat once he got going. Cut consisted of a lazy buzz with clippers and some random snipping at my cranium with thinning scissors. Took about ten minutes. Thank God I was only looking for a quick trim and paid minimum. I was out by 12:10. Stay away - zero customer service and ghostly atmosphere. Don't be drawn in by the cool vibe and retro movie posters - the place feels like a mortuary.

Bodie has been cutting my hair for over 10 years now. He’s hardworking, but more importantly has some great skill, and knows his way around some scissors.He’s always in a good mood, cheery and delivers an awesome service. He asks about my family and friends and is a great listener. I will be coming back to bodie for at least another 10 years.Best haircut in Auckland. If you are looking for a high quality job, Bodie is your guy.

Man!! Bodie is amazing! This is arguably the best haircut i’ve ever got in Auckland. Bodie is really friendly and makes me really comfortable. The haircut was quick but let me tell you he doesn’t miss a single detail on my hair! Bodie will definitely be my go-to barber from now on!! Good job!
