Fresh and More

Best part of my shop was leaving! I am unacceptably underwhelmed and the unapplicable extent of little-to-no citris fruits available on display. Disgusting service to be honest, a young girl was staring at my whanau making me unpleasant during my visit too. Won't be back.

Like previous reviewers, I had issues with the service here in the past but I am glad to change my review to reflect the efficiency and honesty of the new owners. Best value for milk here too.*****************************************Previous review:I could give 5 stars for the quality of their produce which is consistently good with an excellent variety.But they earn only 2 stars because they seem to overcharge on a regular basis. Two items on my bill today and two ladies in the carpark, checking their till receipts came in behind me to say the same. We were all refunded with no problems but that's not the point. How many didn't check? My refund was $4.If this overcharging was deliberate then they should understand this is theft. They make a reasonable profit to begin with, no need to fleece the customers.This error may be the fault of just one careless person but if so, they need to watch him because he is losing them custom and gaining them a reputation for dishonesty.If you shop here ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPT

In early 2019 I left a review stating that while Fresh and More used to be my go-to place for fruit and veges, but at that time the quality of the produce and cleanliness of the store had degraded so badly that I would no longer shop there. I am not sure if there has been a change of ownership or what, but as of this writing in January 2021 I am so pleased to report that the Fresh and More I used to love is back!! I dropped in to see how things were going while my husband was visiting the bakery next door and everything looked much more inviting - I bought some absolutely divine cherries that were huge and juicy and the best price I had seen anywhere out west. The facilities are clean, the fruit that is by the doors are now properly protected by netting , and the staff were helpful and efficient. I will definitely be going back again. I am really happy to see that changes have been made and my favourite fruit store is back to being awesome :)

usually get my veges an fruit from here..good qaulity..good prices..friendly staff...and a bonus there's a bakery right next door too..

Regrettably the quality of the produce can be very disappointing and not fit for consumption. Interior of this shop needs a complete makeover. Outdoor bulk bin produce very vulnerable to bird dropping contamination. Carparking onsite, exiting can be a traffic concern, be careful.

Good quality and value veg shop.

They are getting there! Since new ownership, some time back.Freshness was a real issue, particularly with there always being rotten produce in their bagged product. If it mentioned it to them. They would abuse me in front of other customers. It seems the man who, was behind this, has left . The store may may not look like much from the out side. But prices, are good. Even during lock down and the freshness has proved no end. In the last few months and they have a good selection. The staff are now reasonably pleasant now also.!
