After extensive research into potential designers to help us create the kitchen of our dreams, as well as a laundry, we decided to go with Kitchens By Design (KBD) in Byron Avenue, Takapuna.We are so pleased we did as we now have a kitchen that is beyond our wildest dreams, from both an aesthetic and functional perspective. We absolutely love it! We also have a fantastic laundry that cleverly maximises the limited spaceWe thoroughly recommend KBD and in particular would like to acknowledge designer Marianne Gailer, who did superb work on our behalf, KBD Owner Richard Cripps - including for the stunning cabinetry - and Vernon for the meticulous installation.We also recommend Paul Thomas and his fantastic team at Architectural Stone, who sourced for us and installed with precision the beautiful natural stone for our kitchen island and splashback, while Paul Troake Construction’s team of builders also did great work for us.We couldn’t be happier with the result!

Very helpful staff, great place to look at all the slabs of stone. Good advice on differences between Granite, Marble and Engineered Stone. Ended up buying my Granite benchtop from them. Great place to start when designing your kitchen.

The bench top made to perfection by Architectural Stone for our brand new renovated kitchen is absolutely magnificent. The laying of the bench top has been done perfectly as well. Ashley and the team are very nice, efficient and professional. Many thanks for their good job so much appreciated.

Went to architectural stone for a piece of granite to top a reception desk. The service was wonderful - Rubie is so helpful and accommodating. We were on a tight timeframe but these guys made it work and the piece we got is beautiful. Great service, very happy with the product.
