First impressions was OK. Staff I dealt with was helpful and friendly. There was something else that bugged me immensely from the moment I walked into the reception. Can't elaborate more, might freak out the internet police with mis and disinformation...

Safest place for mum. Good care. Great staff

Staff are lovely, however very under staffed most days, they are stressed and over worked. I think the food could be a lot better, baked beans and soup just doesnt cut it when your paying an arm and a leg in fees. I personally would not recommend sending a loved one here until management recognise they urgently need to bump up staffing numbers and cater to a higher standard.

I visit fairly regularly. It's a lovely bright and open place, always clean, warm and tidy, staff are very friendly and helpful (and easy to find). The place smells nice. The rooms are a really good size, very clean and have great views of the courtyard. There always seems to be plenty of parking, and the gardens are pretty and well maintained.

My husband spent nearly 6 weeks in the palliative care upstairs. In his last week of life myself and our adult kids were welcome to room in with him . The staff is amazing and very caring to him and ourself ad a family. We were fed, had access to showers etc. I was even invited to help with Evans care which was wonderful. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the high level of care and respect given to the whole Smith whanau. We are very grateful and I will always have nothing but positive to say about Wesley Care.Thankyou to staff for helping make this incredibly painful journey something beautifulMuch respect from the Smith family

I was recently at Wesley Care visiting Te Whare Tiaki . A Maori residential care provided for our Maori Kaumatua . The staff are AMAZING AND SUPEER FRIENDLY and the residents are absolutely awesome. I am so happy to know that this Facility is the only Maori orientated facility in the South Island. Big ups too the kaitiaki and staff at this retirement home.
