Dont use Simms Diesel. I was over charged and John the manager never responded to my requests for reasons. See the questions section below. Typical lack of response and over charging by Simms. The actual owner of Simms was even worse - swore at me an hung up the phone No one I know has anything good to say about them.. Beware !!

I bought many kinds of stuffs for diesel engines.I had issues in my fuel tank because of fuel bugs!!I bought chemical which called Killem.It removed all fuel bugs at all.Good price, Good service.If you have problem with diesel engine, here is the right place where you need to go.

I rang these guys up regarding my Yanmar marine diesel injectors. They offered advice over the phone and suggested a test at their premises. It turned out the tips were worn and spray pattern completely off spec. They rebuilt them, cleaned them, put protective caps on them plus provided new washers for the reinstall. They looked brand new. Again they were very friendly when I picked them up and John from the workshop offered great advice. I recommend any yacht or launch owner in Auckland who is willing to travel 15-20 mins south of the CBD to use this company.

Extremely over priced, paid $181 for a $42 original part. To top it all off it wasn't a correct fit and had to adjust it my self. Very disappointed.

dont know what they specialise in it not diesels tho john gave me wrong information then following day wrong parts not a specialist thats for sure unless its being unhelpful asked them some basic questions about all diesels and they just looked at me funny. and couldnt work out how to put half star

Love these guys, got my old nissan diesel sorted. Very knowledgeable crowd. Very happy with service and the price was pretty good too. I won't go anywhere else for my Diesel now.
