Great shipping, and the 3DEA branded PLA+ is fantastic to print with relative to eSUN.

I’ve been using 3dea for only a short while but they are fantastic! The service is very quick and the products are of top quality. I use the 3Resin product in my Anycubic and it’s just as good, if not slightly better, than some of the bigger names out there. I highly recommend 3dea to anyone wanting good quality products and service.

I reckon 3DEA has the most interesting range of filaments in NZ - both name-brand and own-brand. Service is excellent; there is a real expert behind all this, and he’s on your side. You get the feeling that all the products are actually tested and are a known quality, dimensionally accurate, bright colours, clean printing. The only product flaw I have ever noticed is sometimes a lack of vacuum in manufacturer’s packing, which I’ve found is easily compensated for by drying PETG filament before use (using an oven not exceeding 50 degrees, or a dehydrator, or a filament drying box - the eSun type works perfectly). This can eliminate print blobs/stringing and be helpful especially if you’re having difficulties with your first layer.3DEA has a handy range of nozzles and other relevant parts too. Pricing is competitive and while you might think you can order that Rapido hotend or whatever cheaper direct from China, you’re in for a rude shock with the shipping if you try that. Either very slow, or very expensive… just buy it here instead and have it the next day, it will cost you less in the end. Clearly 3DEA have much better shipping arrangements.UPDATE: the shipping is always first-class, NZCouriers deliver before 8am the day after ordering. Amazing and makes all the difference for me, trying to get jobs out to local customers in a timely fashion.I must confess that I come here for the basic black filament and a brass nozzle to get a paying job done, but I end up leaving with plated nozzles and fabulous filament colours, if not the lightweight or the flexible or the polycarbonate… so many possibilities!

REVIEW FOR ASA Blue-GreyPrinted the three parts in the photo attached, individually on an Ender 3 v2 without an enclosure, but with a printed draft shield.Nozzle at 250 degC first layer, then 246 degC for the following layersBed at 102 degC first layer, then 98 degC for the following layersNote: I have a Capricorn PTFE Bowden Tube.Better temp durability than E3v2 stock Bowden tube.My bed plate is Garolite wet sanded with 1200 grit wet n dry and cleaned between prints with Isopropyl and paper towel. You don't want to be in the same room as the printer when printing ASA - smells bad. Also, once the first layer has finished, keep the door closed to avoid drafts.Print rough smoothed using 240 grit sandpaper, then 1200 wet n dry - wet sanded. ASA sands easily and down to a great finish.Next step is try printing in an enclosure and to try Acetone smoothing :)NOTE: The supplied filament reel's centre-hole is too small for my Ender 3 v2 reel holder. I use a dryer so all good, would be frustrating if you wanted to use a stock holder.EDIT: Must have had my eyes closed - The spool holes have filler plates! Removing these plates and my conundrum was solved :)

I have used 3DEA as a supplier of filament for a year now and they have always delivered on time. This in itself is a pretty mean achievement considering I am at the other side of the country and we have had this pandemic to deal with. Once I had an issue due to the pandemic and they went out of their way to organize my delivery. I would highly recommend to anyone who values good service.

HUGE range of different filaments, parts and the sort. Pretty much a one stop 3D printing shop. Quality filament and good pricing. My new best shop. Shipping not too expensive either and arrives quickly.
