The meal was nice and we had ordered 2 days before and thank goodness we did. There was only 1 very overworked young man in the front working his butt off . Surely there could have been at least 2 on for the 30 having dinner. Had to get our own water and collect our plates and go to kitchen to get the 2 desserts ordered

Great place to have lunch, we had our Rukumoana Maori Brethren Churchs pre Xmas lunch. Large menu to choose from, fish an chips an salad also garlic bread was beautifully made. I loved it in the lounge bar. Plenty of light, heaps of room to sit and nice an warm as well. We got parking across from the Nottingham so not far to walk. The Chef was amazing as well as the waitress. Love to go again

Awesome pub enjoyed boxing day here playing 8ball and placing bets on the horse. Nice relaxed atmosphere

This Hotel is very special, very few hotels like this are around any more in New Zealand! It was a wonderful experience staying there, it also has that wonderful unique feeling:- the olde world atmosphere, with terrific staff, example Barman John, who had been there for many years. The waitresses in the restaurant take pride serving yummy traditional food, with local wine You must go there as you won’t be disappointed!! It has a great atmosphere n it’s the best in Morrinsville. Parking outside the door!Plus their prices are very reasonable!!

The whole experience was great. The team at the bar was very hospitable. We had the pleasure to enjoy a karaoke night.We'll be back next year.

I have been going there for years, The staff are great.Unfortunately the menu has changed and the portions are less. Food is above average, but not as good as it was.

This is a genuine kiwi country pub and eatery run by dedicated staff. Service was very good. Food delicious though servings are large but we were offered smaller meal sizes they too are lots. Wont go hungary here. Roast melted in the mouth. Jan's chilli prawns were wonderful.
