Absolutely terrible. Especially the sweet n sour, no vegetables or pineapple just small slithers of mostly batter in a tasteless sauce. The lady at the counter was super grumpy and please note that they do 3 Chinese meals for $42 as per a poster on the wall in the shop which is $20 less than why I paid online. Not a good experience at all.

Fish bits were abit tini dry pieces of fish chips were very nice with the carlic butter good amount for $20 fed three adults and 6 kids so if fish bits were alittle bigger it would have been perfect

Very nice people. Their lemon Chicken is lovely.I am sorry Beatrice Kumwembe but if you want cutlery go to a bloody restaurant. I never expect cutlery from a takeaway and have known very few that do it and you usually pay the price if they do. The majority of people that use this place are local and take their meal home. Imagine the waste if they supplied everyone with cutlery and I suppose you agree with CAGW.

Yea naa. Not going back. Got combination fried rice that was undercooked, sweet and sour pork which was very very chewy. $4 chips which was for a small handful of chips. Soo not worth it and we went by the reviews. Will try somewhere else. Parking good and service good though.

Wish I had read the other reviews before going here tonight. Sweet & sour chicken on rice - over half the plate full of white rice, with chicken in very minimal red sauce on top - no veges whatsoever, and it was as dry as anything. Also got chicken chop suey. Chicken that I would say had been microwaved as it was hardly chewable - and the veges consisted of a plate full of broccolli with 3 slithers of carrot & 2 pieces of cauliflower. No onion, nothing else. Will never go back again - and I sincerely hope that the two chicken nuggets the lady got out of the freezer in her fingers were going to be cooked for her own dinner. Hopefully this goes through with no stars as this meal doesn't even qualify for one star.

Wouldnt waste my time or money going back there again.Lady on the counter served me without a smile & very sour looking. comes across to me shes unhappy in the business she runs..I ordered 2 steak ,& egg toasted sammies & 1/2 scoop of garlic chips.When i got home everything in the toastie was cooked but the bread wasnt toasted,the butter on outside was melted & that was it..such a waste of money..i eventualy got through to the lady after being hung up on the first time & was told this is how they make their toasties..DISSAPOINTING

We bought combination fried rice, tonight, as a special treat. It was totally disappointing. Minimal meat, vegetables, flavouring and very dry. It seems they didn't bother to put the usual flavouring sauces, in the wok. It was the worst combination fried rice, we have ever had. And they charged us $18.00 for this abomination. We are moving to Masterton, to retire. Will not be recommending Hong-Kong Takeaways to anyone. They are a rip-off.

Have always tried to order from this place. Great food and plenty of it. Never had cause for complaint.

Worst experience ever for a take away. My husband can’t eat cauliflower in his curry so asked for no veggies. The nasty woman behind the counter replied with no, if you want a plain curry go to an Indian. Shocking behaviour and will never recommend or go there again.

I didn't like the service, lady was abit rude. We were on a road trip with our kids and it was too cold to eat outside. I thought, having tables and chairs, it would be okay for the kids to sit inside to eat but then we were asked to leave. So kids had to sit in the car and eat.Other than that, food was okay. Fish was too greasy for my liking but chips were nice though.
