I really love community gardens - this one is humble and slightly wild. I really like their beds edged with old concrete hydrant markers. At the open day today I bought a thriving wee black cherry tomato from a very helpful fellow; and also a curly parsley to replace my old, seeding one.

It's a lovely garden that everyone should support and experience. Went as a school trip and Christine who runs the community was very accommodating and obviously has a real love of her job and wanting to give back to the community.

Gewat little community garden, lots of variety and well laid out

Sweet box gardens. They got plants n trees n stuff. Real nice. Y'all can buy plants here for pennies. Have compost n all sorts. Saw some dreads here too, bonus!

Not too busy and small enough to easily find what I needed.

Unfortunate experience but have found silver-lining... will take my green waste(& buckets I offered) to Opawa garden in future due to my compostables being 'too far gone'(I pass there every day).No I haven't been eating a lot of veges at home (as you noted) due to depression & laziness/working too hard... but I don't go to a community garden for judgment... FYI I've never been the recipient of your good work (veges) so am astounded that I got spoken to like that... yes I always line the bucket with COMPOSTABLE PLASTIC bags, from My vege co-op, not the 'not so super market nasty bags.Offended from BeckenhamAka- formerly went out of my way to support Strickland Community Garden!
