Absolutely love this place. The Hawkes Bay is woefully lacking in good food, so it's really nice to have a good wee Asian supermarket.Like all places that import Asian foods , they can run out of things and sometimes it takes a while to get it back in. That's just the nature of the beast and not something to complain about.My only gripe is how little room there is. They could remove an entire row if shelving - as some shelves have the same stuff on both sides? - and there might actually be room to pass people, rather than having to go all the way around like you sometimes have to.

Nice place! You can get plenty of your favourite asian stuffs! ( I got some dressings from Malaysia that are awesome! ) 100 plus from Malaysia also! Bad thing is only that they don't have big bottles. Only cans.

It takes me to my childhood memories every time I come here to shop! I came from south east asia so this shop is a spot on for me! I love all the foods here! It's also a cure for my homesick! Staffs are very friendly and they can speak English well. It's only a small shop and it's not too pricey!

Had all that i needed. Frozen dumpling, fish balls, my mushroom soy sauce, sweet rice. For koreans, has kimchi and korean noodles. Good chilled drinks selection near the cash register. Has its own parking spaces too, plenty of street parking too. Will be back!+

Great male owner, thank for great experienceI purchased Nong il Kim chi" in this store.then i opened the lid to use that. The Kimchi had some little white germ spot on top and that has really bad odor as well. So i visited the store to exchange."I" said this Kimchi is spoiled

Went to the Asian grocery tonight as I was waiting for my pizza hut on the pretence of shopping all I wanted was some matches so I could have a cigy while I waited for pizza. I ended up spending money on all sorts of stuff different flavors of noodles etc I'm going back ,loved it!!PS, the people there are nice too.

My two Asian guests for two weeks were cooking a meal, and needed ingredients we could only get from this shop they said. So we purchased Panda oyster sauce, Beksul toasted sesame oil and Bulogi sauce. I had the standard supermarket varieties of both the oyster sauce and the toasted sesame oil. The difference was amazing. I now know why it is called oyster sauce as the zinc and mineral components are clear. All the ingredients are delicious and I will shop again there for those products at least.
