Heards Confectionery Building
Art Deco elegance, although a little disturbed. Built in 1921, this building was the home of Heard's confectionery, of which the malted barley sugar was to die for. Production ended at this location in 1975. Today a conversation has, with modest success, turned the building into apartments, offices and shops.
