Flourish Floral Design

I have been lucky enough to have had a few gorgeous bunches of flowers from Flourish Floral Design in Wellington.Each bunch has been different to the last, creative, colourful and the flowers are always in beautiful condition so they last.

I ordered flowers from for my mum who has been going through a hard time. Usually I use the bigger florists in town, however I knew Covid had been tough on local businesses, so I specifically looked for an option in mum’s neighbourhood. Flourish’s site says they do twice daily deliveries, creating the expectation that I could order in the morning and expect delivery later in the day. I ordered the $45 Flaming Sunburst arrangement and paid $15 for delivery (literally a 5 mins drive to my mum’s). 3 days later, and there was no news, leaving me to ring from overseas to follow up on my order. Richelle explained she had just moved to Wellington, and had left the Auckland business for someone else to manage during this time. The flowers arrived 2 days later. The flowers were nice enough, but were underwhelming compared to the picture in the site. In the comparison photo the left image is what mum received (lots of space and leaves) vs. what was pictured on the site. I appreciate that the site image may be depicting a larger bouquet size, but this should be clearly stated. The smaller bouquet also lacked in variety.If the service and communication was addressed then maybe I would order from Flourish again, but definitely some room for improvement.

I always order flowers from Flourish. My friends love the gift and dealing with the Flourish team is easy. They were also sensitive and creative when dealing with our family bereavement.

Service was nice, and I really appreciate that you deliver rural. But I paid near $100 for a beautifully arranged flower bouquet, and what I received was not that. What I received looked like it had been put together carelessly with no structure at all, like a kid had picked them from their garden and wrapped it up. Also it was nothing like the picture. Its sad because I paid for an expensive bouquet because I wanted to be sure it would look nice, but what I received was no where near the quality advertised. Disappointing.

Flourish does really fun bouquets. Always happy with my order. Creative arrangements that deliver surprise and vitality.

They have always gone above and beyond, even giving me exceptional service via email when I contact them. They continue to amaze me with their products and customer service. Flourish is not limited to one design style, they stay on top of current trends and deliver gorgeous arrangements... The bouquets from Flourish are beautiful and their workshops are sooooooo good! Highly recommend. So pleased to have this wonderful florist in the bays. Lucky us!!

Absolutely wonderful service from Richelle at Flourish Floral Design. I wanted to send a bouquet from the UK to my daughter in Auckland, and Richelle couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. Being apart during the pandemic is especially poignant when birthdays are being celebrated, but Richelle understood and ensured the bouquet was delivered to my daughter’s workplace at the time I requested. The flowers were beautiful and my daughter was thrilled - what more could we ask?!! Highly recommended.

Always beautiful and fresh flowers from Flourish. Love the country style, the lovely wrapping and the execution of the work. She did the best job with my wedding flowers too! Would definitely recommend!
