STIHL SHOP Greytown

Shame they have a 1 star review. I definitely don't think this is a 1 star operation. They have a very good range in store and the service I've received here had always been of a very high standard. Stihl products are on the higher end of the price range but that's just how it is. You get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend.

Went to drop a chainsaw off to get fixed and mentioned that I will be buying an other saw later and was told that it's the last day of a sale on for chainsaws I decided to buy a new saw and get the other saw fixed later at some stage so I can cut up some big wood straight away.

Janine asked good questions and obviously had very good product knowledge. The service was friendly and professional and we discussed a number of options and eventually arrived at a solution. Janine solved my problem. Thanks Janine.""

Tim is an amazing salesperson. Very helpful, full of good advice and always remembers us when we pop in. When we wanted a ride on mower, he brought it out to our place to demo it and was super friendly. He took away an old weed eater with him to get it serviced for us too. Absolutely no fuss. Will definitely shop there again!

I took my chainsaw into Stihl Greytown to be sharpened. When I got it back they returned it without putting the bar nuts back on which I didn't notice initially as I trusted Stihl Greytown to do their job properly, on the first cut it went through, on the second cut the bar and the chain came off which was dangerous. I took it back a few days later asking for the nuts and instead of an apology I was told that I was a liar and that they had put the nuts on which they clearly hadn't. After asking again to give me back the nuts which they had forgotten to put on the owner then asked me to leave otherwise he'd call the police, I said call them or I call them myself, and he grabbed my chainsaw and put it outside. I said I wasn't leaving until he replaced the nuts, they finally succumbed gave my nuts back to me and left NEVER to return!A very odd and extreme interaction when I was simply asking for bar nuts to be returned to me that they had forgotten to put on. Owen check your counter security camera on Friday, zoom into the chainsaw that you returned to me, then once you realise you were at fault then apologize and I'll take this review down... simple as that.

Great service, opening hours had changed and they were closing up but still took the time to show us the tools we were after.

Freindly team willing to answer all my questions and good guidance in recommending the right tool for the job and advice/guidance for the appropriate safety gear for the job.I would highly recommend them and I'll be using them from now on.Cheers to the team at Stihl shop grey town you've gained a loyal customer.
