Really lovely venue, beautiful garden and the floral arrangements on each table are just gorgeous. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and Disability friendly.Friends had Big Brekkie and thought OK. I was looking forward to the organic granola etc but was unfortunately disappointed at the serving and taste. Next time, ill try one of the popular brekkies others have recommended, or get a cake which looked delicious.

Been stopping here on the trip north since I was a young kid, great spot with a beautiful garden setting and tasty home made food.Unfortunately the last time I was there the service was average - all 3 staff weren’t too friendly or happy and got made to feel like a massive inconvenience.

Stopped traveling between wellington and auckland on a very cold day, very warm thriving atmosphere with such a beautiful courtyard I sat outside with piping hot coffee. Vegan and gluten free options on top shelf, very clean lovely rest stop options. On leaving there is an entry option to another shop which had all camping and clothing supplies - very useful

A smiley welcome. Staff friendly.A warm inside area. Potted flowers on tables a nice touch. An inviting outside area. Divine homemade parsnip and blue vein cheese soup with tasty spongey homemade bread. Best homemade quiche ever that is cooked to perfection and is very popular. I was fascinated by how quickly a freshly baked quiche appeared from the oven as soon as one ran out at the counter.Coffee top notch. Lovely dinner/tableware complimented the food and beverages beautifully. A smooth operation.

We had egg benedict with bacon and spinach for breakfast. The hollandaise sauce was great. They use Supreme coffee. Food in the cabinet looks yummy but didn't order any. Will definitely stop here again.

Lovely food. Always stop there on a trip north. But I have to say, it is quite expensive. Too expensive.Service has become slower every time I go there. It needs to improve to get back to it's best.

We use this cafe every time we pass through Taihape. Food is passable however paying a $1 for butter to go on the bread with your soup as an extra" is a beyond good hospitality. The soup was fine. The bread was ok
