Showerdome New Zealand

One of the best products!!I first installed one after trying everything to stop dripping walls from a bathroom after a shower, even the largest extraction fan couldn’t help. I installed a showerdome and instantly it resolved the issue.Since then I have installed another one, awesome product!

Excellent product! The plexi glass is so much thicker and crystal clear, compared to the thin semi opaque material used in the Bunnings copy. And a quick call to the maker advised me to use a multi tool for the cutting. So I did the complete install myself, had no problems at all, looks great.

I first saw a showerdome at the South Island of New Zealand while traveling. That area was cold, but the showers were nice and warm. And, I noticed that there wasn't any moisture problem in the bathrooms. We live in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, where there is a lot of rain, and we have black mold problems in our bathrooms. You can't get a showerdome in the US, but I had a holiday in Australia planned, so we ordered a dome for the shower, picked it up in OZ, and then I shipped it from OZ to USA. The dome made it safely and my brother helped me to install it. I haven't had to use any awful chemicals in my bathroom to kill mold and my hot water bill has gone down since we installed the dome. It's working great!

I recently had two Showerdomes installed by the Tauranga Branch.I am very happy with the results so far.No condensation at all. The showers are warmer and you use less hot water as the Showerdome keeps the heat in.Simon did a great job installing the Showerdomes and left both bathrooms clean.I highly recommend Showerdomes and Simon for a great install and explaining clearly the maintaining of both Showerdomes.

Highly recommend had one in my last house. I had it for 4 years and no sign of mold or mildew in the bathroom.

Just had a Showerdome professionally installed by Stavros at Tool Time (North/West Auckland supplier and installer) and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, his friendly service, can-do attitude, and professionalism were truly remarkable.The installation itself was more complex than usual due to some irregular features of my shower, but Stavros tackled the challenge with expertise and precision. He carefully assessed the modifications required and came up with a solution, ensuring a seamless and tidy installation.I am delighted to report the Showerdome has delivered its promise of eliminating steam and condensation in my bathroom. As an unexpected bonus, it even helps to retain warmth while showering, saving hot water and reducing energy consumption.

I installed mine in an alcove, so a bit more care was needed with internal measurements. I cut a template out of the cardboard packaging that came with the showerdome. I had to cut all 4 sides to get the dome central (for cosmetic reasons only). I used a 100mm angle grinder with a thin diamond blade. Cutting was easy but makes a fair bit of dust and mess, so best to do outside with earmuffs and protective goggles. Once the cuts were made, I sanded the edges lightly, and slid it into place. This is the second one of these I have installed, and I love them. People always think there are going to be whole lot of cold drips falling down on you, but all that happens is a fine mist of water droplets that evaporate over the day. Just leave the shower door ajar after it has cooled, and the shower and bathroom should remain mould free.
