VTNZ Hamilton - Pukete Road

The lovely ladies who worked on Monday 10th Feb gave exceptional service, I was worried about passing my class 5 learners and the ladies who worked that day put my mind at ease, were very sympathetic and helpful and encouraging. I didn't catch their names but i was so greatful for their kindness that day.

Receptionist gave me a form to fill out and she said when you’re done leave it there and I’ll see to you once I’ve finished with this customer. I’m standing there for half an hour while she goes through a que of people and keeps saying she’ll see to me next but never did. I had to walk out because after waiting so long I had to get to work. Should have been a 10 minute process! Very poor customer service and now I have to go back and sort it out all over again! Thanks for wasting my time lady.

$63.00 to wait over 2 hours. No where near enough testers, can see 2 working. Will never come back to this station, and do not recommend at all. If i had seen the reviews before coming i would not have even considered it. Being 6 months pregnant and forgetful i got desperate. If they charge this much per wof they should be able to afford to hire more people.

Always use them for WOF and they do a service. It comes down to trust they have no hidden agenda so i can trust them. And yes they have failed my car before which kept me safe as it was the brakes. Staff are cool too.

Read the reviews before coming about a woman having to wait 2 hours due to lack of staffing.2 months later and it would appear the have done nothing to fix the understaffing issue.2 hours for a WOF and I couldn’t even back out and go elsewhere as someone parked in the lane behind me.Reception even said it’s a long wait no matter when you come in because of staffing.That’s the last time I come here for a WOF, sorry. Plenty of other places offering cheaper WOFs and a lot less wait time. Shame.

3 hour wait for warrant, unfriendly staff, then to recheck they make you wait in the same queue even just for tyres and lights. 2 hours waiting - staff all on lunch break at the same time with 10 cars in the queue. If you want to charge people $67 and expect them to come back, perhaps provide some sort of efficient friendly service. Tawn Place would be my recommendation if you HAVE to come here otherwise, don't.

Busy little centre, Staff were polite and able to let me know of how long I'd wait to have my car WOF completed.Also mechanic/Service personal were very informative and able to let me know what to get sorted by next WOF.Couldn't have asked for more, lots of people coming and going too and still the staff were polite and smiled with a lovely greetings to everyone :-)

Appalling service. Do not go there unless you have more than half a day to wait. Waited 2 hours (it was a Tuesday morning after rush hour so thought it would be a quiet time). Car failed needed a new front tyre. Went and got it fixed immediately. Straight back to VTNZ 20 mins later with new tyre on and receipt. When this has happened before they just come out and check and say ok. This time, I am told to get back in the queue behind 6 cars, presumably another 2 hours to wait. They completely refused to just come and verify that the tyre (which they had put a chalk mark on) had been replaced. Left in utter disgust (without WOF because no more time to waste). Will NEVER use this service again. Appalling! REPLY: I already did leave a complaint and the auto response was we will respond in 5 days." I think your business is living in the 50's when life was "slower.""

Attempted to get a WOF today. Waited in a line of six cars and only 1 car was taken through in the 1 hour I was there. Couldn't wait any longer. Way understaffed. Booked my car in at a local mechanic for the next day and way cheaper too.
