Lauderburn House Central Otago Rail Trail Accommodation
What a gem. Stayed here for the night as our first destination on the Otago Rail Trail Ride. Perfect location and atmosphere. The place has a very peaceful feel. Hamish and Gillian were perfect hosts. We stayed in the Kahu Room, was lovely and bed was comfortable. Highly recommend

Lauderburn House is a wonderful B&B with friendly hosts. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms beautiful. Location superb right near the best tunnels on the Otago Rail Trail. Historical sights such as St Bathans and Naseby really close by too. We have had a fabulous stay. Big thanks to Wanda and Brent Jaggard.

Lauderburn house is undoubtedly worthy of 5 stars! Well located, clean and comfortable with fantastic hosts! Perfect spot for a stop while doing the rail trail or visiting the area.

A beautiful location on the Central Otago rail trail! Lauderburn House has everything you need for a comfortable night’s stay while cycling the rail trail. A nearby pub and cafe are both worth a visit, but make sure you enjoy your time at Lauderburn House! The hosts Gill & Hamish are warm and welcoming, and doing some very exciting things in their garden space! The friendly animals are a bonus too. Would definitely stay again!

10/10 for the full country experience.Brent, Wanda and side kick Poppy offer a unique and quirky experience coupled with a vast knowledge of the surrounding area.The beautiful decor and comfort will take you back to yesteryear.Visit their extended family of alpacas,ducks,chickens and horses roaming the property (they all have names!)

I had a beautiful getaway in Lauder staying at Lauderburn House. The rooms were really clean and cosy with electric blankets to keep us snug.Great option if you’re thinking of doing the Central Otago Rail Trail.The homemade honey is my favourite so I always buy a jar when I am passing.The host Gill is lovely and accomodating. Looking forward to my next stay and to see Chips (the ginger cat) roaming around.

I stayed at the Lauderburn House while biking the rail trail. The accomodation was beautiful and just of the trail! The hosts (Gillian and Hamish) were both lovely. Would highly recommend if you are wanting somewhere to stay that feels like home.
