The Warehouse Oamaru

Great lady we usually get. Always has a smile and talks. Went in yesterday and another lady did her utmost to help in jewellery dept. Even tho could not help she was brilliant - so great staff!

This store is named a department store. But their opening hours are not lengthy comparatively to in Auckland and CHC. But this is Oamaru, that I understand. Staff was not bad. The place does not feel spacious inside. I has got a Warehouse Stationary inside. Furniture, gardening stuff and all usual departments u would expect in a Warehouse including clothing. Onsite parking is available. If there is a service to wrap the gifts v buy from there would be better.

Just a junk heap.empty shelves, stock dropped on the floor , shelves all messed up, price labels missing or in wrong place. Utterly embarrassing. I wonder if management or staff of the place care a toss about the dump it has become.

Good parking , easy access , well laid out store . Well staffed checkout . Ideal for a quick visit , or a quiet wander around . A pleasure to shop .

Returned to the store today to exchange some clothing. I was not sure whether or not I would be able to do this. The staff member at the check out (I won't name her here, but have provided her name to the Warehouse through feedback) was pleasant and friendly, enquiring as to how she may help me. She immediately reassured me that she was able to exchange my items and even went above and beyond by ordering another hoodie in the size that I needed. She was so nice and an absolute gem to deal with. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend this branch & their staff. Despite the ongoing stock shortages that many businesses are facing due to Covid, the Oamaru branch keep their shelves as stocked as possible. The store is nice and tidy & the staff are brilliant. Well done team. Keep up the great work.

Great store. Very well stocked.Plenty of parking. Staff very friendly.

Got searched for “stealing” rings and when the lady found nothing didn’t even say sorry or anything was very rude.

Dont like the pressure donate thing at the checkout every time i go in and even when i said no very clearly today they added it on ,which i had to remove to make a point but then made an uncomfortable situation , i have my own causes and time i donate too i dont need guilt on a 6 dollar purchase.
