Butlers Fruit Farms and Cafe Ltd
A good rest stop along the way from Christchurch to Dunedin.Scones were hot and fragrant. Went well with the extremely light cream and probably homemade jam.Coffee helped to elevate fatigue from driving long distances.The shop had lots of raspberry jams, fruits and ice cream for the sweet tooth.

Stopped on the way driving Timaru to Dunedin... generous food producers sharing their wares cheerfully. Even told me my 'fill a bag' of courgettes could easily fit some more in it!! Will stop again another time and see what's available in different seasons.

Cute little stop with a variety of fruit products, no fresh fruit when we went early October but there were jams, frozen fruits etc.Got some real fruit ice cream (raspberry + blackcurrant), a little too tart and grainy (too generous with the frozen fruit, haha) but still delish.

Lovely little stop for some fresh fruit in season. Grab a bite in the small cafe or enjoy a real fruit ice cream. Pleasant staff and a nice selection of preserve and sauce gifts as well.

Great berry shop. The taste is so much better than what you get in the supermarket. We bought a pack of strawberries and raspberries and both were absolutely delicious. The old man at the counter was super friendly!

Great looking strawberriesWent to get some scones and tea, but all out. Summer and there are a lot of tourists passing through. Got some berries, but they are not as sweet, looks good though

A bit of a disappointment as only ice-cream in the cone or pottle was being served.A limited amount of fruit/ veges.A pick your own (obscured sign was seen on my way out.A shame as this used to be a really busy on the side of the road veges shop stop.
