City Nails

The pedicure was lovely, but being a tall male, I felt like the ladies were talking about me and making jokes, the person I was with thought the same thing. Felt like as soon as I sat down I was a hindrance, not a welcoming place. Judgemental. The male worker was lovely and the lady at the front desk (I didn’t catch her name) was also lovely and helpful. Such a shame because it would have been nice to have a regular place to go to in this town. But we will continue to travel to Tauranga for our nail services. Won’t be back.

Great ladies working here. Id as I asked. Yes they speak in their own tounge but this dosent worry me they talk to customers in English. I enjoy the relaxing time doing girly things

I had the gel nails, they did an awesome job! And a pedicure, it really lasted ! Love this place!

I was disgusted at the hygiene. No clean towel to lay my hands on when about to have the gel nail polish removed.The foreign attendant couldn't understand me and she spoke very little English.

They do an amazing job at a pedi. Really make your feet feel lovely and soft. Polish lasts well and stays shiny. I come here often!

Love the girls and perfect nails every time

Nail technician was awesome. First time I've had my nails done by a male. I will definitely recommend City Nails.

Today was my 2nd time ever going to City Nails. I very rarely get my nails done, so when I do go it's a treat. This time, however, wasn't very pleasant at all. I got Shellac on my fingernails for $35, reasonable price. The young girl who did my nails was Tiffany. She actually cut 2 of my fingers quite badly and made me bleed. She didn't apologise or even hesitate when it happened. Getting back to my car afterwards I noticed my pinky finger was still bleeding and stinging quite a lot. (pic attached)Apart from that, staff seem... friendly? I guess? They tend to speak amongst themselves in their own language rather than to the customers, which is a little awkward at times..Overall I don't recommend this nail salon. I think I will be going somewhere different for my next nail treat.
