Anytime Fitness Riccarton

Very good place to work out. Clean and good equipment.

I have been using the gym for several years and like the convenience of been near the park for running. The showers could be a bit cleaner but that is often the case with a 24 hour gym. I usually go in the morning and it is usually not too many people there so getting to the machine you want is never a problem.

I would not recommend going to this Anytime fitness gym, If your able to go to Shirly or Horny I would go there! Every staff member is rude, especially the women. You will not receive a hello or goodbye here, you will only receive stares. I will be working out and on numerous occasions I will have to stop because the instructor has invaded my space or has decided to bring their client right next/on top of me to work out. On one occasion the client came over and apologised because she could see what had happened. The gym is small, however the instructors could make it easier for us and not invade our workout space. The women instructors either stare at me or I can tell they are talking about me, which makes me very uncomfortable. This is not every time, but has happened, at least on two occasions! Some people that go to gyms, may not feel the best about them selves and may feel uncomfortable, on top of feeling that way, going to this gym will make you feel worse. I never do reviews on anything, even if the pizza I ordered was terrible or a staff member was rude to me, I simply don't bother, I'm not someone that's very vocal, nor do I let things get to me. However the workers at this gym have made my experience so uncomfortable every time I go, I needed to write this review and hope they either change their attitudes or even to warn people off. I have been a member of gyms from Australia, UK and NZ and this gym by far is the worst, it's a shame these people are representing Anytime fitness.

Not impressed with membership rates for someone like us who are looking for something temporary and not at $80 a month! We only hit the gym 3-4 times a week

Ended my free trial early, sorry folks it is no Bueno.I go to the gym not just for a solid workout but to clear my mind. The clutter here made that near impossible for me, too messy with equipment very close together in the weights area, and appearing disorganized in the calisthenics/yoga area as well.Overall has the equipment you need and supportive staff, just not a nice space in my opinion. Just an uncomfortable experience but if you're not bothered by the cramped workout space it does have everything you need.

This was a great home away from home when I came to work in Christchurch. Unfortunately due to the mosque tragedy or project continued for about a month longer than expected.Riccarton Anytime Fitness was a handy place to train in the evenings and was never really too full.I will return next time I am in Christchurch

Best gym I've been to in years. Very clean. The management is helpful when you need it and leaves you to it when you need it. Plus great equipment

Delivers on everything I need from a gym. This particular AF gym is very well maintained.

Everybody is really friendly the pt's are really helpful
