The man who usually runs the place wasn't there. Appeared as though staff on duty were inexperienced. Meat (lamb) not as nice as previous times. Got far to much fat in my meal. The meat is added by weight and disappointing that so much fat was included. Asked for mint sauce but there was so little of it included. No kumara as in the past. Potatoes not as crispy. Won't go there again.

They just changed the owner 4 months ago. The food is really nice and the orice is reasonable. Apple crumble is a must try!

Great roast that I can't reccomend enough. Amazing crunchy potatoes, beautiful juicy pork and crackling that was out of the world good.I had a pork roll which was excellent and just what I was after. Obviously have pros on the kitchen as the gravy and apple sauce was just right adding great flavor without soaking the bun.My partner had a roast dinner and it was her first roast in her life. She loved it!!Can't wait to go back to this beautiful local gem!

I have been a loyal customer for many many years. I have a loyalty card, with every 10 meals purchased,you get 1 small meal free. Which means if you spend at least $200, you get a $10 meal free.I moved away and haven't been able to go recently.I went tonight to buy 2 meals, which will fill up my card, and I can get a free small meal.My card already has 18 purchased meals on it.The owner refused to honour this voucher. Apparently they are new owners since the past 3 months, and they are refusing to honour the previous owner's loyalty cards.Really?! They are choosing to lose a loyal and regular customer, instead of honouring a free $10 meal?She offered free crackling. That's about $2, which means she is prepared to lose a good customer, who consistently spends over $200, over $8. Pathetic really!I won't ever spend a cent in that place again.

Fair prices with an excellent and sizeable menu for a roast shop. You will not be disappointed, my roast lamb burger and chips were sensational. Nice people too :)

Really fantastic food, but quite forgetful with orders. Just arrived home with takeaways and my extras were forgotten from my order even though I was charged for them - has happened to me a couple of times. Great food but double check you have everything before leaving if take away
