TG SPORTS CENTRE - Pro Shop

A very poor service experience. I bought my brand new 100zz 4u/5 badminton racket from Player Sports, and they secretly switched the stringing to 3u/5. It took three visits to the store and two emails of complaint before they finally changed it back. She only said a word “sorry”The female staff member had a deadpan expression, as if someone owed her money. The items in the store were more expensive than in other shops in Auckland. I do not recommend going there.Afterwards, I told this experience to another friend, and he mentioned that his friend also had a similar incident where a 4U racket was switched to 3U. I really don't understand how such a store can exist in Auckland.

Bought a badminton racket Astrox 88D 4U in Ruby Red. Excellent racket, super light and gives me some serious power behind my smashes. It was restrung with BG65 at 24lbs which is ideal for my game. I received a great customer service with good advice to help me decide which one to buy. Got it restrung within an hour upon my request which was great. Very happy experience and would buy from here again :-)

Bought a new racket 88d pro 4u from TgSports. Excellent customer services and definitely one of the best priced badminton shop in New Zealand! Excellent string job as well as it still holds the tension very well after a few games at 28lbs. Will be back for all my rackets.

Lucky to have a great badminton shop in our area. You get good advice and prices. And there is a lot of choice, making this a very enjoyable experience. Being new to badminton I really appreciate being able to talk to a knowledgeable person.

Absolutely efficient ! - I received my son's and my racket by courier within 3 working days, exactly how we wanted them! Maggie gave superb advice as I wanted a 4U 5G medium balanced racket for tournament, while my son preferred a head-heavy racket. Definitely will recommend to friends and thee three clubs I am associated with in the Horowhenua district! Can't get any better!

Fabulous service!! Ordered for my son's Xmas Eve birthday. Not the time to be ordering at the last minute, but arrived with time to spare taking only the regular 3 days to ship even at this time of year, so impressed!! The badminton bag itself is super and my son pictured was so stoked with it that he wore it around the house whilst helping to wrap xmas pressies :) Thanks so much TG Sports, will be back for more goodies over the coming years!

My friend recommended TGsports to me as I needed a new racket that meets my needs. I made an enquiry but I didn't wait for the response and made a purchase. Maggie rang me and discussed with me about my level and my needs. She then gave suggestions for the racket that would suit me as well as the tension of the string. She was very patient and definitely very knowledgeable about badminton rackets, string tensions, etc. We finished the phone call just before 1pm. And then I got a notification about my racket being on my way with the courier before 4pm. My new racket was strung and well packed within such a short time. I LOVE my new racket. Just visited this place to get some badminton equipment without any knowledge of what to get. Super friendly owners (didn't get their names!) but those couples were amazing. Thoroughly went through each rackets, pros and cons, and got me the one suits my style. Also got all the shoes out to fit on so that I can find the most comfortable one for my feet.It was like Harry Potter visiting the wand shop for the first time lol. I went to the badminton club on the same day, which they had their own shop, but didn't have much high-end rackets to choose from. I was glad I came to this shop first. Def recommend :)
