You are not a customer of my husband and he didn’t even argue with you!Did you “stated “Call for availability” on google? No, opening hour is 9-5.You say “19th day working, looking after children during the school holiday”. Who doesn’t work hard and raise kids hard especially during school holiday? Weworked hard and saved to pay for this wonderful family Christmas trip. You dropped your tools just because you decided to go fishing!I’m 1.65 so how/why would I throw your paddles everywhere?Other people? In your made up story?Your story makes me laugh! Honestly, you are so childish and unprofessional. Acted like an upset kid wants everything done your own way! Otherwise throw toys everywhere. Write fake reviews on my husband’s business google/Facebook page for example!Here is the truth, to who is considering to use this kayaking service:Our family and friends (who traveled all the way from overseas to stay in Auckland for a week) went to Otehei island. We were assured by the Ferry staff that Kayaking would be available to hire. Checked Kayaking opening hours online 9am-5pm. Paid over $300 for the ferry tickets and took 40mintues with a very sea sick kid.We arrived Otehei Bay around 12 but we were told the business was closed as he (the owner) decided to go fishing now (opening hours is clearly 9am-5pm). I said it was lunch time but not closing time yet so I will make a complaint (Kayaking is the only hiring activity there ). He became very angry at me and hanged around. 5 minutes later, another group of tourists went to him and hired kayaking from him! So I asked him why he wasn’t going to finishing. He said he changed his mind and can hire to anyone he feels like. He asked me to apologize to him otherwise no kayaking. He just wasn’t happy that I said to make a complaint. I told him I won’t apologize I will still make complaint. He waved his phone and threatened he will call his friends to throw me out of the island! This guy is unprofessional, very emotional and horrible to deal with!

Will was our tour guide for the day. Terrific chap, easy going and very knowledgeable. The weather conditions forced him to change the itinery somewhat, but this didn't affect our enjoyment one bit. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone.

Taylor is an excellent guide and host. The boat and equipment was very comfortable and the experience was great fun. With options to kayak or paddle board, everybody could enjoy this opportunity to get close to nature, see the bird life, and observe the natural beauty of this special region. This was great value and highly recommended.

No doubt, 5 stars!My girlfriend and I came to NZ from the opposite side of the world (Norway), and went for a wonderful two days tour around the beautiful Bay of Islands,. Great guide (Will), who told us about the different places and prepared delicious meals. Great company with two other couples from England and Austria. Provided with single and double kayaks, Will was in full control. Paddling, tenting, snorkling - visiting many of the small islands and shores.Just had to love it.Our best recommendations!!

Very friendly and helpful staff in every way. Very much enjoyed my one way paddle with them and would recommend both to other TA hikers and also to anyone wanting to spend some time exploring a beautiful section of New Zealand's coastline from a new perspective.

The tour was an Incredibly fun / special experience. Our guide Curtis was cool, knowledgeable and fun to hang out with for the day. If you're up for an adventure, this is a must do

Despite claiming to be open it was closed. Please update your opening hours. We were planning to enjoy a day snorkeling and could have brought gear from the mainland, if we would have known that you are closed.

Curtis was our guide for the Island Time Tour and we had a really good day exploring the Bay of Islands. Although we didn't spot any dolphins or orcas we had a good day. On this tour you are on the water for a good 3 hours or more and can experience ocean swells meaning waves and a serious workout on the arms. Don't forget the sunscreen or cover up!

Very friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended. No need to know swimming. It will take less than 5mins to be confident to do kayaking by yourself.
