Generally pretty good but sometimes the burgers smell like they've been tainted with chemicals. I think someone is wiping down the cooking equipment with a rag that has cleaning fluid still on it and it's tainting the burgers. Also, orders in bags are sometimes left open on the counter which is not the best either. Would be great if someone spoke to staff about these issues.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my grandmother, who recently visited Burgerfuel Kapiti:“I want to commend the excellent service I received from Ollie last week. I left my coat at Burgerfuel the following week, and I was feeling quite stressed and upset about the ordeal. I called up and the person on the phone said they couldn’t find my black jacket anywhere.After that, I went back into the store and talked to a young man called Ollie. He went above and beyond and spent 15 minutes searching for my jacket until… hurrah! He found it.My friend and I then ordered some burgers and asked for no cheese. Ollie ensured that both burgers (a) had no cheese and (b) were cooked to perfection. He also was very attentive in cleaning the store once it got quieter.Overall, I just wanted to commend Ollie for his brilliant and outstanding service. He does Burgerfuel Kapiti a great service, and I’d recommend Burgerfuel Kapiti on the basis of this experience.”

Really fast, great quality food for a decent price and a really nice atmosphere. What else is there to say. One of the best burger fuel joints I have been to.

Tried o phone in an order while driving south. Phone rang and rang and rang. No answer. Tried with no luck for 20 minutes on our journey approach.Tried to order online but had no luck there either. Met with a near empty restaurant perhaps 4-6 patrons. Staff claimed it was really busy before but no apology. In New Plymouth burger king, the staff still answer the phone when its busy. Lucky you make tasty food.

Previously I have scored 5 stars. Sadly tonight staff were very busy and I presume our order was left sitting (we were eating in) while the kumara fries cooked. The fries were piping hot but two of our three burgers were close enough to cold. The burgers potential was not reached, however, hunger ruled and we ate them. I would not choose a Friday night to eat at Kapiti BF in future. (We arrived around 5.50 p.m.)

No warnings of time delays. Waited 50 minutes plus. Staff talking out loud swearing and being disrespectful. Lack of range. Out of stock two nights in a row. Normally pleasant experience however not very happy about tonight. It wasn't even busy they were just behind for no visible reason. Probably last burgerfuel visit I hate to say it.

Hey just wanted to share a good experience I had picking up my online order today from your shop young lady served me and she was currently cleaning the store as it was quiet late, but she came over to me and asked if I was here to pick up online order and I said yes and she replied with my name straight away, very nice service and well done to this young lady I have been in customer service myself for 15 years so good to see great service in local stores

Fast service, the server k ew his stuff re Gluten Free options for a Celaic. Burgers tasted freak and the Thickshake was amazing.
