Lucy is an exceptional veterinarian. She is knowledgeable, caring, and always goes above and beyond to ensure the best care for my dog-Mochi. We are so grateful to have her as our pet's doctor.

I was referred to Remuera Vets by a long-time client after adopting a rescue German Shepherd. I was immediately struck by the professionalism of vets, Colin HIll and Hollie Poulter. They obviously care deeply about the animals they serve and are knowledgable when it comes to advising you about treatment, the options available, and their respective pros and cons. They are efficient yet thorough, not compromising on care and attention. My old dog was not a fan of my previous vet clinic but my German Shepherd almost rushes into Remuera Vets as he always receives such a warm welcome. My experience with the nurses has also been nothing short of wonderful and it is encouraging to see the professionalism and strong customer service extend down from the vets to the nurses and receptionists. Be it for check-ups, surgery or dental services (all of which my dog has undergone at RV), I highly recommend Remuera Vets for your pet’s care; they could not be in more trusted and caring hands.

Our cat was badly hurt and couldn't move his little legs, I called my local vet and 2 others after who all said they were too busy and couldn't fit him in for an appointment, even though he was in excruciating pain. Rem Vets was the only one who straight away said he could come in, gave him the best care and who is now helping him make a slow recovery. I am so grateful for the amazing team at Rem Vet, I can't thank them enough.

If you are in need or choosing a vet for your fur babies this is the place. Wholesome, deeply caring, compassionate, pragmatic with exceptional medical expertise, I wouldn’t take my beloved pets anywhere else!Apart from the fact our pug is in love with Dr Holly!!

We love the care and devotion at Remuera Vets, its been over 25 years that we've known Colin and the team, they are amazing. Extremely knowledgable and gentle. We have a new puppy and she had her 1st visit this week, she was understandably apprehensive at the beginning but old friends at the end! Recommend them to anyone.

We had to say goodbye to our beloved 19 year old cat. Colin and his team couldn't have handled us and our cat with more compassion than they did. It helped us through the process and was the most minimum of stress for her. Thankyou, hard to say at the time but much appreciated.

Incredibly friendly from reception to vet and nurses. Service above and beyond. Easy to talk to, knowledgeable with great advice. It’s never fun when your fur baby is sick but I know at Remuera Vets, our huntaway is given the best possible care and love. Very highly recommend.

Colin may well be the best vet in Auckland. Loves his animal clients, 100% reliable and great communicator. Photo of 3 happy clients - our two Lucy and Pip, along with neighbours dog Daphne

The long story short: if you have a stable diabetic animal that you are competent at managing - DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC.I have had a lovely experience with Sonia (who I would recommend to see) and a lovely American locum vet however this clinic seems to have an issue with staffing. My cat has visited three different vets at this clinic now, 2 of them were casual/locum vets and the third time was forced as the vet on duty wouldn’t dispense my cats regular insulin from her notes when the last consult at their clinic was in September and I had provided a glucose curve from this week. She refused to recognise the consultation with the two previous vets as they weren’t regular vets at their clinic. She sounded quite junior and inexperienced, like she had never encountered someone that knew how to manage their animals long term condition - completely refusing to listen to me when I explained my cat had been in for a consult less than two months ago, refused to dispense the regular medicine as she had not seen my cat, acted as if my cat had never been to their clinic before or that she didn’t trust the assessment of her colleagues hired at workplace.Infuriating as of course I will come in for another consult if you are withholding my animals life saving, regular medicine. During the consult it became very clear to the vet that this was inappropriate decision by LUCY to force me to come in less than two months later - seems quite manipulative as she needs the medicine and has been on it for almost two years now.Honestly just comes across trying to squeeze every dollar out of someone whose animal has a chronic condition. Sad to see as the leading cause of death of diabetic cats is owners putting them down due to the costs of treatment and these kind of stressors. My cat is my baby and I would never do that but I would expect vet clinics to be encouraging owners to take ownership and responsibility when their animals have chronic conditions NOT DISCOURAGE IT AND DISTRUST THEM.
