Luisa photographed out autumn wedding in Gibbston Valley and she was an absolute joy to work with.Wedding planning is a famously stressful time, but it made all the difference to have people like Luisa around, who knew their stuff, and at the same time knew how to inject joy and happiness into the process. Luisa's fun loving attitude, kindness and professionalism brought the exact energy we needed to our big day, to allow us to focus on just enjoying ourselves.In the lead up to the wedding, Luisa was responsive, communicated clearly and never once showed even a hint of annoyance at our constant questions. More than that, she knew all the right questions to ask us to make sure we ended up with photos that we loved and that captured the spirit of our wedding.Having her there honestly felt like having an extra friend with us for the big day! She went above and beyond in so many little ways that really made us feel special and supported.And, most importantly, the photos she took were not only stunning, but were a perfect representation of all the things that had made our wedding day so special to us. Luisa was absolutely amazing to work with. Extremely talented and provided a fantastic experience in helping make my partners dream proposal come true. As we were coming from out of the country for a trip, Luisa went above and beyond to help coordinate the proposal and to ensure it remained a surprise. During the shoot, she was very warm, encouraging, and patient, came prepared with ideas and a vision for what shots would work for the moment, and made us feel very comfortable. The photos were amazing and we couldn't be happier with the results! Would highly recommend.

I don't even know where to start in what to say about Luisa and Api, it actually makes me want to cry thinking about our whole experience working with these 2 - they are the most special people who were a huge part of our wedding day!From the moment I found out about Luisa (through a recommendation) it was just the most special experience. Our first catch up to talk through our day I instantly knew that we were going to click and that she absolutely understood us as a couple and what we would be wanting to achieve through our photos and video!Understanding her packages and which would be most suitable for us, and even working with us to make it work well since we had an 'extra long day' starting our ceremony so early!!We planned our wedding in less than 4 months so to work with someone who was so professional with such a caring nature was exactly what we needed.Luisa made a comment to me that you end up spending most of your day with your photographer and videographer and she is absolutely right. Luisa and Api were right there without even knowing it (in the nicest possible way) and captured the true essence of our day. We wanted to capture the love and laughter and be able to tell a story about our day through the photos, and that is exactly what has happened.The video Api made was absolutely phenomenal!!! I watch it all the time! We had our 2 little boys, 4 & 1.5 present at the wedding and it is the most amazing memory for them. We have shared our photos and videos and people are absolutely blown away by them just like we are.Anyone who attended our wedding look at both and comment all the time how much Luisa and Api perfectly captured exactly what the day was like, and they were also taken through a journey of remembering while watching/ looking at them.They both also went above and beyond by working an incredibly long day in order to capture some of our dance floor action!These words aren't even enough for what they meant to our day and I can't recommend them enough!!Look no further for your video and photo requirements, Luisa Apanui Photography are who you are looking for!! xx
