Nolans - Gisborne Lawyers

Prejudiced against males.

I can't fault nolans, not only did they do an above and beyond job for us to keep our moko many moons ago they also took on mums separation property case and were there for any and all support we needed during the process.. absolutely love them for the hard work and understanding into our lives. Will always go back to them should we ever need legal help and advice. Sorry Nolans crew but you guys are a part of our family now..

Service from this firm was poor and there was a lack of professionalism.

My father and I both use Nolans. I agree with other reviews that this firm is slow and unresponsive. They appear to only act on receipt of chase up phone calls or in person visits to their offices. I can not comment on the quality of their work but having a will done here was a far more and what appeared to be unnecessary drawn out process compared to doing them with bigger firms in Wellington.

Amazing service

Seems to take a long time to sort through things, but they are very good at making sure that you understand what is going on

Lied to by the telephonist about the whereabouts of the secretary. Practice manager evasive and refused to disclose fees then began to cite an anti money laundering/terrorism requirement. It is lawyers who should be subject to this, not the people that pay them dearly for their services. If the law requires me to seek their advice then they should be required to give it after fully disclosing their fees. Gisborne receptionists could do much to improve lawyers' reputations with both their lies and appearance.Well, it seems libel is the game of Nolans. When staff are asked quite calmly for details of fees this is in no way threatening or a risk to their safety. Perhaps the NZ Law Society should be involved in a complaint, or a public apology from Nolans. I reiterate that fee details were still withheld, a clear breach of Fair Trading, or are lawyers a law unto themselves?
