Soft surface running track open to the public during daylight hours. Loads of different groups use it as well - check the website. Lanes 1 & 2 closed for casual use. Lane 3 has some wear on one corner (as at 4 Sep 2020), but overall quite good. Not too exposed to wind etc. Toilets available. Haven't checked out showers etc.

I gave this a high mark as its a beacon in a roughish area. Large spaces enough to avoid other dogs if u must and still have ur own space. A mix of native and exotic tree scape giving seasonal change and bird food and shelter. Fantastic sport grounds that are well maintained. Multi use areas fly a kite go for a picnic in a hill etc. I don't live in Hamilton now but when passing through always stop to walk the dog and see how the plantings have developed. It's a safe space where u can stay in the open. Well done Hamilton

We spent the night there, arrived late, it was a tidy carpark, with quite a few vans and motorhomes and the occasional car. Saw security driving around after 12 almost every hour, which made us feel safe, on a really quiet road, would recommend, a wee bit dogdy before the security started driving around :)

Lovely sunny day, unfortunately hamilton wanderers ladies lost. Some team members were missing. Really good effort. Our dogs enjoyed the walk around.

Easy to find. Lots of parking around the stadium and good track for competition. Covered stadium to view and clean toilets. Only set back was the disabled toilets were locked on the day we were there.

Did security here Beautiful during the day as soon as it hits dark it's pitch black no lighting and all the dodgy people come out.
