Erawan Thai RestaurantA little bit of Thailand without leaving the country, right from when you walk in the door warm welcome from the staff inviting an authentic Thai ambience and the food here is amazing traditional Thai food some of the best Thai food I have eaten outside of Thailand, Very highly recommend, we will be back

I have only been to one other Thai Restaurant that would be equally as good as Erawan in Christchurch.I never left anything on my place. The taste of my Seafood curry hot plate was delicious. The fish cakes had a nice bit to them.Price very affordable.Staff very friendly and helpful.Would definitely go back there.

Paid just short of $18 for exceptionally small and average lunch order of pepper garlic vegetables with prawns. There were 4 prawns, less than a head of brocoli and a couple of bits of celery, cauliflower and cabbage. Half of the container was rice. I called them to ask if it was a mistake, but it wasn't. The garlic was from a jar of crushed garlic and no evidence of pepper other than three slithers of green pepper. If you're hungry go elsewhere for both portion and quality.

Pretty nice ! Good service, decent size portions, nice garlic and pepper stir fried beef... but the money bags and curry puffs weren't as tasty as I can get from other thai restaurants. However I was happy to find some thai iced tea on their drinks menu !

Excellent food and very good staff. Just hurt a bit when the process went up substantially and we then had to buy rice separately. Highly recommend the spicy beef with chili and basil, and their pad Thai.

Didn't know this place existed until we were driving along googling 'Thai near by'... we only live a few minutes away!Absolutely brilliant, food came out quickly and piping hot! Lovely atmosphere and service.

We shared a very lleasant evening with friends. Food and servuce were good. The atmisphere is pleasant, expressing traditional Thai culture. It was a bit cool because the fire was not working.
