Kaitaia Fish Shop
Best fish and chips in Kaitaia. A bit of a wait but perfection takes time. Fish so fresh it's like it was just pulled from the sea. Chips were perfect, good sausage and crab sticks were just the way I like them. Perfect batter on the potato fritter and not soggy with grease.

On the way back from the Cape Reinga to Matauri Bay called into Kaitaia and brought hot dogs, hamburgers, fish and chips to feed five adults and eight children (aged 5yrs through to 14yrs). Everything was yummy. Totally recommend the food from this fish and chips shop hence the 5 stars
