Matapouri Glamping
Matapouri glamping is set in a beautiful serene setting. The attention to detail of the living area, kitchen/bathroom is 5 star. A truly restorative 2 night break, with amazing sunrises, birdlife and a wealth of amazing things to do in the local area. Hosts went above and beyond to rearrange our bookings due to covid and cyclones. Everyone should go. You won't be disappointed. Amazing.

We knew this place before we go, we have a very high expectation and yet, they surprise us in another way. Its way beyond our expectations. Guy and Sandra are so thoughtful, they have everything ready, even a very small thing. The place is so clean, dust free and neat with stunning view, every corner is instragramable". love it so much.We get our free coffee at the garden Cafe next to the stay. Get to talk to Sandra

Matapouri Glamping
Wow, Matapouri Glamping was exceptional. The quality of our stay was remarkable, from the bedding, bathroom products, the cleanliness and more. Effort has been put into making Matapouri Glamping homely with the candles, plants, flowers and personalised note. Sandra & Guy were very hospitable, and Guy was quick to arrive when we needed assistance. The extras are a bonus too such as fluffy robes, hot water bottles, a variety of cooking spices, bubble bath/salts, the fun games, and of course the efficient heater. I am an Auckland city girl at heart but I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Matapouri Glamping. This is perfect for anyone looking for a romantic getaway or a compromise between city life and nature. We look forward to being guests at Matapouri Glamping again soon!

We had the most beautiful relaxing stay here! So peaceful and nice listening to all the bird life and hearing the kiwi at night. If want a place to fill your cup- this is it!

Matapouri Glamping
What a stunning place to relax and unwind. Matapouri Glamping is one of our loved glamping spots in NZ. The tent is situated on the hill overlooking the trees and ocean. The area is well planned out with beautiful decor. The owners truly have thought of everything you may need down to the little details of treats and herbs in the kitchen and hot water bottles and blankets if it gets cold. The outdoor bath was one of my favourites... nothing beats relaxing in warm water looking out to some of NZs best landscapes. We loved waking up to the sun rising over the ocean and the birds singing- we absolutely enjoyed our stay and recommend it to everyone. Thank you so much for everything- we can’t wait to be back.

An absolute slice of paradise, we had the most relaxing enjoyable time at Matapouri glamping. They have thought of everything and all you need to do is relax, take in the incredible views and listen to the birds. It was luxurious so cozy and homely at the same time. We Would recommend to anyone wanting to have a night away, it is a dream place to stay. Thank you!!

Matapouri Glamping
The perfect bush hideaway to relax with everything you could want! Right from arriving we were blown away by the view straight out to the Poor Knights Islands and then it just got better as we explored inside. The tent is gorgeous and so well laid out with a super comfy bed and beautiful linen, the kitchen has everything you need and the bathroom is stunning with the outdoor bath perfectly situated out on the deck for star gazing and bird spotting. All the little details have been thought of from fresh flowers, hand made carvings, bath bombs, robes to hot water bottles (which went down a treat on a cold winters night). Absolutely stunning stay and we can't wait to come back again!

Matapouri Glamping
We absolutely loved our stay at Matapouri glamping. The views are spectacular, the tent is immaculate and cleverly designed to take in the beautiful vista out to the Poor Knight islands. Every detail has been thought of and we slept soundly in the very comfortable bed. There is a lot to do in the area, from bush walks to lounging on golden sandy beaches with turquoise water. We can’t wait to return!

Matapouri Glamping
My partner and I had a one night stay here. We had no idea what to expect as we had only seen a few photos! When we arrived we were absolutely amazed at how stunning the place was! The views were out of this world, nothing but trees and ocean in the distance! The place was beautifully detailed, the decor was unreal and they had absolutely everything you could possibly need! Then we saw the bathroom.. WOW! The outdoor bath sat on a deck that had nothing but trees below. The decking had a glass panel so you could literally see the ocean from the tub! So dreamy! Romantic getaway? Girls night? Relaxing break? Take some food and drink and get ready for the most unbelievable night away! :) 11/10 would recommend!
