Kamana Lakehouse

We had a lovely stay at Kamana as part of our Honeymoon. The staff were lovely and super helpful, the room was beautiful and clean, and the views were amazing. We particularly loved admiring the sunrise views from the restaurant over an early breakfast. Cannot fault anything and look forward to staying again!

We enjoyed our stay at Kamana Lakehouse. We booked in advance for the room that offers a view directly on the mountain. It was simply beautiful and magical!We also had our private spa.The room was clean. The breakfast was really good! Service is perfect.Even if the hotel is a little « out » of downtown Queenstown (2 minutes drive) I would totally recommend that place and will still book the same place next time!

What a gorgeous hotel. Beautiful aesthetics and the staff are superb. Rooms are basic but clean and minimalistic. Unfortunately we missed the dinner at their in house restaurant called Nest which I think we really missed out on and was disappointing but if you do stay here, book dinner in advance as it's got really gorgeous views and a gorgeous ambiance. Breakfast however was superb and we wished we had more time and stayed a little longer in this hotel.Abit of a distance to the centre of town with all the hustle and bustle BUT it's the kind of place that is calm and picturesque and it's perfectly placed. Would love to visit again

This hotel is just fantastic. The beautiful rooms, the amazing bar, the incredible views and most of the beautiful staff. We had a large group and stayed number of days. Nothing was ever a problem and they smile constantly even when under pressure. The food was great and the bar is beautiful. I would strongly recommend it as the best place to stay in queenstown

One word … stunning! Our room was amazing and the view spectacular! The staff were honestly helpful, friendly and welcoming!! We could not fault anything about our three night stay, besides the fridge not cold enough to chill anything as it had no thermostat.Breakfast was fantastic and the best coffees we’ve had so far in NZ. Highly recommend and cannot wait to stay again. Thank you to all of our staff whom made our stay so amazing x

I recently stayed at Kamana Lakehouse for one night as I attended a wedding on site. Having seen the mixed reviews, I wasn’t sure what to expect. All in all, I was incredibly impressed - spacious, sparking clean rooms, friendly staff who accommodated a really early check-in so I could get ready in the room and attend the wedding without looking like a yeti, incredible views from the restaurant, tasty food. Other than the location being a little out of town, I cannot fault this place. Also, highly recommend this place as a wedding venue - incredible! Well done Kamana.

A perfect choice for anyone staying in Queenstown! We were looking for a place to stay while on our honeymoon that felt tucked away but was still convenient to all Queenstown has to offer - Kamana lake house was perfect! It’s perched up on the hillside with incredible views of the water, and just a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the center of town. Our room had the most incredible view, the food was fantastic, and the staff very accommodating. We spent 5 nights here and highly recommend it. Make sure to get a dinner reservation in the restaurant on-site.

Brilliant hotel. Beautifully appointed rooms, very comfortable and quiet, although a little on the small size when travelling with kids. Very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is good, however not cheap.

Very clean and nice service. Highly recommend the soaking tub. Our room had a great view of the lake and the hotel is a little out of town but has a couple good dining spots and a small corner shop across the street.
