Really great vibes here. Lovely staff, nice drinks and adorable kitties. It's obvious the cats are really well cared for, and it shows in how friendly and sweet they are. Thank you so much for the experience, we will come back next time we are in Rotorua!

We stumbled upon this cat cafe while walking around town. We have two dogs that we had to leave at home while on vacation here and we miss them terribly. So we decided to fill that void by interacting with more than 25 cats. The cats were very well-behaved but very cat-like (most of them were just napping even with a lot of stimulus). This place is popular for little kids and even though we noticed a few tail pulling and grabs, the cats tolerated the behaviors with no retaliation. Overall, it was a pleasant place to visit but cats definitely aren't dogs ;).The cafe also was decent!

Saw something about this on Tik Tok and had to come through when we were in the area. Parallel parking available kerbside. The cat area/ ice cream and coffee area are separate. Admission $18 for a 50 minute session.Purebred cats! So beautiful and fluffy and different types. There are cat toys at the door you can use. All the pats! There is a quiet section at the back with massage type devices on the seats. Some kitties just jump in your lap and stay there. All the photo opportunities! Highly recommend if you love cats and are in the area.

We happened to find this place by coincidence. Had a good time with the cats for a pretty reasonable price :) There are rules set in place for interacting with the cats, and they seem well-cared for. Would recommend for cat lovers.

The staff are super kind and helpful, and the atmosphere of the establishment is super chilled out and cute. The cats are so adorable and it's easy to tell that they're all well cared for. The souvenirs for sale are all super cute and well priced, and there's absolutely delicious gelato for sale, too. I'd definitely recommend friends and family to come here when they want to relax with cats.

Had a great time patting cats and The Little Emperor spent all 50 minutes allocated to us playing with the cats. Garfield/Tiger was the star for us but all cats were friendly and the place is very well run. There are 3 rooms and the third room has massage chairs which is for grown ups only as it’s the entry/exit to the cat living quarters (so the cats get some space away from excited children).

I wasn't sure about going here but we did today and it was a great experience. Lots of lovely cats, very soft and well cared for. Plenty of room for the cats to move around but a lot of them seem to like laying in the sun out the front. Cats seem very relaxed with people around them. I took my 4 year old and there was plenty of duplo for him to play with so he ended up playing with that and the cats came up to him as they liked.Coffee was good- so much so that I ordered a second. Is a cost involved but I think this is fair for the set up and to take good care of the cats.

Its been 5 years since Ive been here and the amount of renovations they had is great! It now consists of 3 rooms - with one of them having massage chairs. However I was quite gutted as last time, the massage chairs were those big ones, now its just a little one. Either way, friendly staff. Make sure to book on busy days or else you will miss out. I do think the place needs a little bit of clean as - not fur but dusty. Still had a great experience and I would do it again, just to see some cats. Also make sure to not annoy the cats, let them be. You can pat but dont force pick them up

Their hours say they close at 5 PM yet they don't allow anyone to play with the cats after 2 PM. This seems like some major information that needs to feature prominently on review sites such as Yelp / Trip Advisor / Google Maps.Another couple went in right before my husband and I, so there were 4 of us, wanting to pay for a session at 2:09 PM. Place was completely devoid of customers (and smelled, obviously of cats.)The woman at the cash register said the last session is 2 PM. Ummm then why are you open until 5? Also, nobody else was here so why couldn't we have a session at 2:09 PM?The couple said that their hours say 5 PM. No luck getting them to take our money. Their loss.Waste of a trip.Visited February 2023.

Really yummy gelato. The cat cafe itself seemed to be clean and have plenty of room for the cats to move about and hide out if they needed a little down time. Several of the cats had a cold/respiratory infections while we were there, so hoping they were getting treated and feeling better soon!
