Liam was great to deal with, though the car developed serious mechanical issues shortly after purchase. Steve was very difficult to contact, and wont honor the Consumer Guarantees Act to cover repairs. Forced to take the claim to MVDT to get a response.

I found myself needing a car fairly quickly, as someone crashed into to my wife's car, and it was written off, being a registered vehicle trader myself, but not dealing in the type of cars my wife wanted, i decided to visit Car City Autos. Well, the salesman most reviews here relate to is gone, (likely a good thing) so i was dealing with Steve, the owner, and we found him to be easy and friendly, and we got the car my wife wanted at a fair price. So from my experience, absolutely no issues, and happy to recommend to others if the car you want is there.

Had been keen to get my hands on a 2011 BMW 325i and had the money ready to pay in full amount upfront. I asked Stuart Anderson to have the car inspected through a BMW dealership and ill cover the costs. That's when things went downhill by him stating If u have doubt in our credibility

Fantastic experience at Car City Autos. Liam was professional and knowledgeable and worked with me to secure the right car at the right price. Nothing was a problem from a longer than usual test drive to installing a new stereo system all organised within a few days. I told myself that if the car I bought from Stuart Anderson was still going good after 6 months from time of purchase without any problems, I could give a honest good review.After alot of time, care, research and consideration, I chose the car I wanted from Car City Autos online. Stuart Anderson was always available and happy to answer my queries about the minor details of the car whilst backing his product informatively, without putting any pressure on me to buy ( I dont hesitate to walk away from pushy salespeople). Even after I paid for the car, Stuart sent my new car for a valet (✔) and service (✔) and informed me his boss was having a new JVC car stereo installed in it (✔) while I was waiting until I could travel to Auckland to pick up my new car.My uncle, aunty and children came with me to pick up our new car. Stuart enthusiastically gave me a very comprehensive lesson in driving my first european car (Mercedes-Benz) and answered all my questions before I drove our new car straight to a very large family function were everyone in my family were very impressed with the way the car looked and drove. My friends were impressed when they saw my new car too.Six months later, I needed a WOF.
