We just spent the week in Queenstown and went here about 4 times for coffee/food. I could not fault a single thing! Warm and snuggly inside with beautiful views over the lake/mountain. If you wanted to sit outside there were big blankets for your legs which was cute. We ordered the Turkish eggs, bubble &, squeak, chorizo/scrambled eggs & the porridge: everything was perfect. The coffee was nice and strong too. The staff were really attentive and even when it was busy the wait time for the food was minimal. We were blown away with how generous the portions were and you could see the love that went into every dish. There are some places that just get it right" - and this is definitely one of them. It’s not often a brunch place gets 5 stars from me, but the food on offer here blew me away! A tiny two man kitchen produces a delicious varied menu with something for everyone! With a view over the lake and the mountains, with attentive staff, fast service and delicious coffee. I had the cilbir poached eggs…they were probably the most delicious poached eggs I’ve ever had! Alongside the granola we followed up with a warm banana and chocolate muffin! A little out the town centre but a short bus ride away, this is definitely worth a visit! You will not be disappointed!

Cute little cosy cafe along Frankton area. Would recommend to get reservations as it gets rather busy - we requested for an outdoor seating for a view of the lake.Food is in great amount and I had to pack my scone for the road. Worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Our first experience here was so great, we came back again the next day to try the other items on the menu! Coffee was delicious as well, food was astronomical, views were amazing and staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend!! Note: there’s a paid parking (approx $2 an hour) next to this place if you can’t find any free space outside the cafe.

We came here during Sunday brunch time. They looked really busy, but there are tables in front so you can order coffee while you wait. And we were seated in only 15 minutes! It was a nice sunny day, and they have tables on their outdoor patio facing the lake, which we were lucky to get seats on. The view is stunning.As other reviewers have mentioned, the food is on the pricey side, but I think the ambiance and quality of food justifies the price. My friend ordered the chorizo scramble and I ordered the mushroom toast with poached egg. Also popular is their French toast which I saw many orders for coming out. All the food is beautifully plated and tastes great! I really enjoyed my mushroom toast. Very generous heap of mushrooms and the bread was chewy and perfectly toasted.

The location of the Boatshed Cafe is outstanding right on the lake with the cycle trail going past. Even on a busy busy Easter Monday we found a park for our campervan. We restrained ourselves to coffee and a scrumptious muffin. All the plates coming out of the kitchen looked so delicious. It's a great place to tarry awhile and enjoy the views.

Had breaky here and OMG the food was great even though they had bookings they still had tables available for walk-ins. Views were awesome from sitting outside. Nice lil cafe situated on the shores of the lake and hidden away. Well worth the visit.

Cute cafe with wonderful service. Coffee and eggs were brilliant. Busy place but well handled by staff. Enjoyed reading my book over a wonderful breakfast. Free parking was limited however paid parking close by was not too expensive.

What a gem we found in Queenstown! We accidentally went in for a quick morning stop but enjoyed it so much, we spent a bit of time here and visited this small cafe again the next morning for the exact same menu. They have it all, great indoor & outdoor seating, a lake view, a good range of menus, tasty food, fabulous coffee, and professionally friendly service. The Boat Shed Cafe & Bistro became our regular morning stop in Queenstown.

Nice cafe by the water just outside of the main town centre area of Queenstown.Portions are pretty big so justifies the slightly higher prices - ordered the chorizo scrambled eggs and the salmon waffle. Both were delicious and very filling (scrambled eggs come with crispy potatoes underneath)
