I wish I could give them lower than one star I’ve been trying to contact them for months and had to go in again and say I wanted a refund only to be met with ‘we could’ve fixed it’ but they didn’t reply to emails I had been away and I don’t want new nails for them to just fall off in 2 days again. I PAID $55 A DAY for these nails this is bs and is a big show of how unprofessional they are as I’ve seen they’ve ignored others before aswell.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We went here yesterday for our end of year girls outing and were highly disappointed. We arrived for our booking early to not be greeted by anyone and had to awkwardly stand in the corner, finally taking us for our treatment 10 minutes after the booking time. Then once the treatment started my nail technician spent the whole session complaining that my acrylic nails were 'too hard to take off' and therefore couldn't provide the service I'd booked in for (even though they took us in late, and I'd booked a removal of existing nails as part of my booking). The nail technician was also so rough with her service that several of my nails have broken down to the quick and the skin surrounding my nails is peeling off and bleeding. Several of the other girls also didn't get what they'd asked for which was also disappointing. To top this all off they charged me $60 to take off my existing nails and provide no other service.... would never go here again. Also a note that one of the other girls (CN_D F_RR) has also provided a review for our service yesterday and the company has responded saying they have no record of her booking...

Save your money and go somewhere else!I would not recommend getting your nails done here, the nail tech was not listening to what I wanted and kept forcing her opinion on what to give me. For the amount of money you spend there you want to be satisfied with the service and I was less than satisfied. I asked for French Tip and felt like I could have done a better job at home than the nail tech. I have been to places that have cost me less than half of what they cost and was 10x more satisfied. Would not recommend just go somewhere else.

There aren’t really words to describe just how bad my builder gel removal and re-do was, I was left with cut and bleeding fingers and asked them to stop after this. The tech didn’t even ask what length I wanted my nails and essentially cut them all off. Would not recommend and definitely will never be back.

UNFORTUNATE experience. A group of us booked in for a work xmas gift, and paid over $300+ to get our nails done. Three of us walked out without our nails done and told getting gel polish would take too long. During the nails, the lady was complaining about the job... not what we'd expected for our end of year break at all. Disappointing. Would NOT recommend. EDITED due to response: They have just lied about not seeing us. We have the receipt & can't believe the poor service of the management there pushing the staff and overbooking the system. Two thumbs down and a disgrace for lying.

Got my nails done for the first time in ages, I asked for a short coffin which can be hard to make look good but my nail lady did an amazing job and I couldn’t be happier with them. So gently handled and a beautiful clean job. Very happy, highly recommend- didn’t get her name but she had cool eyeliner

Was in Auckland for a couple of days and decided to treat myself to a set of acrylic gel nails. The ambience was lovely and I love how my nails turned out! Two weeks on and they still look perfect, Kaori did an incredible job and I was really happy with the price. Definitely planning on going back next time I’m in the area.

I'm a regular customer of Art of Nails. I go at least 2- 3 times a month for acrylic on my hands and my pedicure.This salon is probably one of the most well known and pricey salons in Auckland. If you're an avid nails woman like myself who loves having perfect looking nails then you would understand that if their work is immaculate and the quality of service is good...then  I think it's worth the price.However, recently I had a really disappointing experience with them. Their policy is if you cancel within 24hrs of your appointment, you need to pay 50% of the service that you booked for. They recently sent me the confirmation of my appointment...them few hours later they sent me an email saying...due to unforeseen circumstances...they had to cancel. If they can do that then what happens to the customers? It's double standard... I know they cancelled on me because my usual nail technician has gone overseas for a month. But I was still able to book my appointment online. No problem.  I KNOW they cancelled because my usual technician wasn't there and there was no one available.  At the time, because they have few stores, they booked me with another girl but obviously something happened.I told them that they should PAY for my service since I had to make an appointment in their other store ... but what's funny is that.. that same technician was in another store...I had to make the appointment myself?! I called them out for lying because there is NO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES... they probably just made a mistake.  Ever since I've asked them to pay for my service which THEY CANCELLED, they haven't replied back to me.  I told them, it's ok for YOU to cancel and not compensate but as customers WE HAVE to pay 50% of our service.  Maybe CUSTOMERS also have UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES TOO? I wouldn't recommend this place. It's very sad as I've gotten to know the other staff there as well.

LOVELY nail salon. Got an amazing manicure from the sweetest technician. Despite a literal cyclone hitting, they were unhurried and made sure I had an incredible experience.
