Eastern Walkway
One of the finest public walkways in Wellington.There are some steep bits but they mostly have steps. It's both in bush and open walkway. Plenty of testing places, a few benches, and loads of amazing views across the straits and eventually out to the South Island (or vice versa, depending upon where you start from).Note: no cycles allowed, and dogs must be on a lead.

Seemingly impossible stairs give way to eyewateringly beautiful water views. Allow a good hour 30 to do the Pass of Branda, Breaker Bay loop. Your day will be transformed. Every time I do this walk, I am reminded how lucky I am to live in Wellington.

Spectacular walk (expect steps) with views to the Southern Alps. Moving memorial to Ataturk. One of Wellington's best. Just do it!

One of the most beautiful place in wellington. On a sunny day the best location you want to be. Blue sky, calm sea kids will love it.

Great walk & views : regularly walk dogs along here. A shortcut / shorter walk can be accessed by cutting through Seatoun primary and taking the steps you will see up to the cliff top. Walk either back to Seatoun wharf or around to breaker bay.

Wonderful walk! On a sunny, calm day is lovely. However, car park has had many break ins recently so don’t leave any belongings in cars!

Nice walk that will take you about an hour one way. It gets bit exposed at places so wrap up if you go on a windy daySome nice views of the harbour. Old military bunkers at the end
