Orange Rentals

Maybe I was unlucky to have a break down at the very first day I rent a car from here. I called the officer but she said it wasn't dangerous situation. There was no Orange Rental office nor alternative car in Rotorua, so I had to find the garage which fix the problem ASAP.Just on the way to the garage, the car stopped again in the midst of busy junction, and I was booed from all around the cars and people. It was such dangerous. I was worrid about that. Big sigh. :-(I'd once rent a car at Christchurch that worked well, so I assumed it would be OK with Auckland as well, but wasn't. The white sunny was old enough with more than 270000 Kilometers, and since the seal of the trunk was loose, thus didn't work well, that after driving the gravel road, my cargo went very dirty and dusty.You will get what you've paid for, it's cheapie, so don't expect too much quality. Only those who sticks to the budget things would be fine with this company. Or probably add some to upgrade the car itself would be a better choice.The lady at the counter was helpful, and pick up as well as drop off to the hotel was great. If there's no problem with the car, I would be happy. Next time, probably I will try another.

A group of us hired a 12 seater (for the first time) last weekend. The van was spotless and a joy to drive - perfect for our needs. Thanks heaps for your fantastic pickup/drop off service. Really helpful and friendly, easy to deal with and good value. Recommend over the big guys anytime. Cars are what you pay for but they do the job reliably. You want luxury, hire a limo!

Had a great experience with Orange Rentals Auckland. They credited my account when I couldn't travel which I really appreciate. When I did travel the communication was great, I thought the vehicle was good. Pick up and drop off was close, quick and no hassle. Admittedly I normally prefer onsite companies but this really wasn't an issue as they're office was so close. Will use them again next time I'm in Auckland

Have usually dreaded car rentals, particularly UK ones,But dealing with this company was a pleasure, staff were a cheerfull and pleasant to deal with.The vehicle was clean and went well for the 4200km trip.I don't usually do reviews, so take this as a complement.

We regularly use Orange Rentals and have always been very satisfied. The ladies are friendly and extremely helpful. They go the extra mile for us. We have never been disappointed. On occasion my husband has forgotten to book a car but they have never let us down. If you want a car, this is definitely the place to go without a doubt. 5 Stars

I certainly don’t recommend renting a car from these folks. The van we rented smelled like rotten fish, it was unbearable. They have must used a heavy duty air freshener that masked the odor until 24 hours after we picked it up, so we were too far away to bring it back to exchange it. We ended up cleaning it with carpet cleaner, which made it slightly better. Second day we had to buy jumper cables to start the battery. The one nice service they do offer is a ride to the airport.We mentioned this to the salesperson when we dropped it off. She didn’t offer an apology. Makes me think this is just routine service from this business.

Was finding the cheapest rental car per day as my car broke its transmission and then happen to pass by orange rental.Borrowed their Nissan Note in a breeze.Special mention to Debbie who was really helpfuland also allowed me to extend my rental until I bought a new vehicle.Staff are really friendly(Marie, Raewyn) and helpful.And they are very accomodating.Many thanks to the team and appreciate yourhelp throughout my rental period.Will definitely recommend Orange Rentals to my friends.All the best!Cheers!Will
