Great service bought a small cheese board & tools, plus paint and brushes

Came in to grab some polar fleece and also some satin for a couple of projects awhile ago. I found the price for the satin very competitive with online prices as well as other shops in town. Very helpful and knowledgeable service by Natalie and the other ladies there. Anybody into art and craft are very lucky to have many options available to us right here in Rotorua, and Spotlight is one of them for sure!

Nice friendly service and store has a good range of stock however in comparison to other nearby stores it lacks in the wool and textiles departments. Frustrating too when online says they have stock and they don't. Due for an upgrade to bring it up to other store size and range.

Get looked at like I’m going to steal every time I come in here. My be because my skins is a darker colour.Some of the things you order online says it’s not available at the store but when you go to check the delivery details, it says it’s being packed at store? I honestly wouldn’t have even bothered to get delivery if you guys made it available for purchase in the actual store

Staff are rude. Came in with my 3 kids and asked someone if they have afterpay or zip in-store, old lady rudely answered me that they dont have those when I dont think she knows about BNPL and gave me a “the look” from head-toe so I walked away with my kids feeling judge. Got some items that I needed and me and my kids quickly went to check-out since we felt unwelcomed because of my kids. The lady from the check out clearly saw me with kids and my toddler is screaming and my baby is unsettled, she scanned my items and handed it over to me. I asked for a bag and she said it’s $$ and didnt even bother to put my items in my bag (when she sees me with my situation with kids around screaming) and she made it sound like I owe her when she didnt even asked me from the beginning if I want to buy a bag which is not a problem at all! Poor customer service everytime I go there!

Probably the most unsatisfactory shopping experience I've had in my life..... service was nonexistent.... all I wanted was 2 balls of wool from another store.... absolutely bloody useless....

Good prices when things are on special otherwise not the cheapest place to shop. They have a wide range of stock well laid out.
