Whizzy E-Bike Hire

Short version: Exceptional service and great customer experience. Highly recommend!Long version: We called the day before in the evening to see if we could rent out two bikes. Despite the last minute request, Paul was so kind and arranged exactly what we wanted. We had the bikes delivered to Hilton in the morning and gave a ballpark of when we will be able to have them picked up. We had a minor incident on the trail which caused inconveniences to one of the bike’s break and ended up wanting to return the bikes early. When we called to have them picked up earlier than what we had originally planned, Paul was very responsive and accommodating. The first thing he did was ensure we were okay. Huge shoutout to Paul’s son for the help also!Although I wish I can gate keep their service because it was exceptional, I hope that this review will help other travelers in Queenstown!FYI - Paul spent time in the morning to adjust the bikes and had us do test rides to ensure both of us were comfortable, gave us a map of tracks and shared helpful tips & manners we should keep on the trail which was extremely helpful for new bikers like us who are visiting from overseas. Also, we were so glad we rented out e-bikes because of how smooth it was on the trail.

This rental company is great!The e-bikes were new and in perfect condition. In the morning Paul dropped me off exactly where I wanted to start my tour and he recommended many spots to stop and to eat. Paul was also extremely flexible to pick me up at the end of the day.Great experience thank you!

Highly recommend. Paul can pick you up/ drop off bikes but we rode from Whizzy Bikes at Lake Hayes which is perfectly located for a return journey to Arrowtown/ Gibbston valley.

I made a last minute booking the night before and Paul was able to accommodate my kids and I. He picked us up in their near new van from our lodge in Queenstown and drove us to Cromwell to start the Dunstan Trail. Paul gave us a briefing on the bikes before heading off as well as some tips for the journey. His recommendation of the bacon butties at the Burger Afloat along the trail was spot on for my teenage boys. At the end of the cycle, there was no pressure to head back straight away. We were able to have a cold drink before driving back to Queenstown. Whizzy E-bikes are good quality bikes, they ride smoothly. Dunstan Trail is a must, absolutely stunning and Whizzy makes it so easy and hassle free. Thanks Paul for your expertise, friendly manner and service! My kids and I had a fantastic day.

10/10 would recommend. I called in last minute and still managed to book in 2 bikes plus delivery for a great bargain, Paul, the legend himself came on time and went out of his way to give us some local tips and restaurant locations. The E-bikes are easy to get the hang of and surprisingly still new. As a 6'3 taller guy it can be difficult to get things of my size but not with Whizzy E-Bike. Hassle free on pick up also. Whizzy E-Bike Hire were brilliant! Great door to door service making bike hire so easy. The E-bikes were easy to ride and the team at Whizzy were so helpful. Bike riding the trails is a must do activity on any visit to Queenstown.
